Fantastic recording of an Incredible band, brings back great memories of seeing them live, completely full on from the first beat to the last! I saw them with h Wilko and then Gypie but not with this fella on guitar, who is amazing too. Nothing against the rhythm section here, but I think in some senses Big Figure and Sparks were less interchangeable than the guitar players, as clearly Lee B could source magical guitarists each time someone walked. Despite Lee apparently actively wanting the band to carry on without him, and with respect to the later incarnations still playing today, he was completely irreplaceable.

Just when I think I've seen all the footage that exists of my favourite band another gem turns up! Many thanks for posting this - it may not be the best quality sound/film but I for one enjoyed it enormously.

Took my girlfriend to this gig for her birthday. (She wasn't a fan though, so this did not impress her!!!). The band were great that night. It was a one-off concert between other shows on their British tour, as a favour to the landlord of the pub as I recall. I didn't know any video of it existed.

Good Feel-good line up..... Can't beat the original members. Mr Collinson having a good growl on vocals. Interesting set tunes .

Fantastic. Been an admirer since the halcyon days of 75 and the original line up. It's great seeing this in a small club and particularly good that they played a couple of Wilko compositions, She Does it Right and Back in the Night. Thanks for posting

Well tight outfit. I saw the originals many time and also worked with them as support but this is well good. Props to the bass player. nice grooves going on there. Lee was one of the best front men ever. Compared to the current line up this is streets ahead. When Lee died so did Dr Feelgood. Great find this video. There has to be more out there.

Saw this lineup twice at the New Ocean in Cardiff 84 and 85 if I remember correctly. They were awesome both times.Gordon was excellent live and on record. Loved all era's of the band.Thanks for posting this video.
