Big indicator of whether they have your best interests at heart is if they plug donation links/merch links and/or charge for access to their podcasts etc. how can you trust someone who simply wants to extract the most amount of money from you, like Anthony here. May I ask, have you or your wife had an FBC or any bloodwork done since adopting a purely carnivorous diet. If so, what were your CRP/ESR/LDL/HDL and hematocrit + serum ferritin levels? Also, is Gary Null wrong , citing all the Pub Med, peer reviewed Library of Medicine double-blind studies. Someone is wrong, as the info sure seems mutually exclusive( vegan vs Carnivora diet)???? Nature: red in tooth and claw. Just as this podcast shows - it pays to be at the top of the food chain and you'd be shocked to see how many of our furry and feathered friends like a hot nutritious snack as they graze and forage. As nature studies continue to use advancing technologies to monitor and document the social lives of our sadly shrinking wildlife populations we can see how as groups and even families, survival behaviours range from cut throat to cannibalism. The lead group of a wolf pack on the warpath to defend it's territory consists of the old and injured to draw out any ambush, and female squirrels on nursery duty aren't averse to snacking on their smaller and sickly charges to bolster their own chances of producing a healthy litter. Just be suspicious when in the name of social equanamity the strong and independent insist on providing security and assistance to the weak and needy...

Nutrition in our healthcare system is horrendous… people put trust in us to do what’s best for their health and instead due to the healthcare system, guidelines and the government, we do what’s the worst. I battle everyday with trying to educate /plant seeds to patients about Carnivore and LCHF as they trust their Doctors so much. I would love to know GPs in Launceston who support and promote carnivore and LCHF lifestyles 🙏

I have no joint on my big toe, so I have a lot of pain and stiffness. I went to a foot surgeon, and he told me he can fuse my toe so the pain will go away. In the interim I began the strict carnivore diet, and my toe pain is almost nonexistent. Happy camper now. I also have arthritis of the spine and that has improved dramatically as well. In the past if a cloudy rainy day was coming, I would have such severe non-stop pain in my back that sometimes I couldn't stand up or get out of bed without help. It is no issue now. I used to get terrible stomach pains when I was eating mostly veg, I tried vegan diet for 3 mos. Once I did the carnivore all stomach pains stopped COMPLETELY. It is amazing. My skin looks better, my hair is shinier and falling out less. I doubt I'll go back to veg.

I studied the science and listened to doctors like Dr Chaffee before adopting the carnivore diet. 6 weeks in and now 5 people I have talked to have switched to carnivore based on the results I have had. This is how we turn the tide and create an awareness that fresh meat and animal fat is good for you, and stuff made for profit in factories isn't. I'm 54, and suffer from HOCM. I have had many syncope episodes through my life and now both my exercise tolerance and heart rhythm is the best it has been since before I was first diagnosed at age 21. No one can believe it, but the only change has been carnivore diet, so it has to be the plant toxins, seed and vegetable oil that appears in my case at least to have a major bearing on heart muscle function.

That's amazing! I haven't seen others with HOCM yet, so that's great to hear that it has helped! That's really good to hear.
@AndrewHacking Жыл бұрын
@@anthonychaffeemd after I noticed the positive changes I did some more reading. I am speculating that it is possibly the effect of increased Omega 3 and lower Omega 6? Some possible scientific explanations, include the report "Omega-3 fatty acid prevents the development of heart failure by changing fatty acid composition in the heart" and also the "Omega-3 Fatty Acids: The “Japanese” Factor?" published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. I also found a KZbinr "Jerry Brazie Podcast" who has HOCM and has improved significantly on the carnivore diet.

@@garyfettke3210 thankyou, good point! No doubt ketones as energy source are improving my organ function, particularly my brain and heart function. I have also been reading about myosin inhibitors as a new class of drugs is emerging for HCM. Of course I want to avoid drugs, even though Mavacamten has been recently approved in Australia and understand what metabolic and dietary influences may lead to similar interactions (as a lay person with a vested interest) This was a very interesting paper on myosin role in muscle: "To lie or not to lie: Super-relaxing with myosins". I’m 60… my “why”? Was mental health started carnivore Jan. 2023 as an act of desperation [at that point] here’s the list of improvements: No longer [secretly] suicidal Improved mental clarity Improved mood [much less anger at everything] Lost 50 pounds even though I’m gaining muscle My “junk” is greatly improved [I’m going to avoid being too graphic here, I’ll just say this one would be one of the best all by it’s self] My white beard is darkening [it was completely white and isn’t anymore.. how weird is that?] No bloating [it was getting BAD] Couldn’t sunburn this summer… didn’t use ANY sunblock ! And this was a week in the sun during the worst times of the day!! Gums stopped bleeding [completely] [dentist remarked about this] Dry, scaly skin [in the middle of my back, that has been there when I joined the Air Force, age 21] GONE and is still gone. Finally started working out again… but for the first time in my life my muscles don’t get sore it’s the freakiest thing! Unless I go really hard and then it’s a different kind of sore and it’s much less intense. There have been a couple trade off’s? I’m a bit of a “foodie” and loved to “cook” so this way of eating is pretty boring. I also think that my earlier “less than Lion” approach caused some bumps in the road’. But I hate to say this because I’m still not certain that you HAVE to be “Hard core lion” to get all the results??? That said, it kinda looks that way for me?? If you find yourself struggling with a ton of these kind of issues? I say DO IT!! just research how to start and do it right! NOT JUST “cold turkey”… it will kick you r A$$! Otherwise [ask me how I know?]

Been carnivore for about 4 months now. Lost 20 lbs, no PMS symptoms anymore, nodules in my neck and around my clavicle are gone now, came off BP meds, no more knee pain when going down stairs, better sleep, more energy. I originally started this because of severe eczema. Skin is so much better; where I previously had rough, thick skin is now returning to normal. Hyperpigmentation is even better. I found out that coffee (even if it's decaf) makes me irritable and emotionally unwell - and I've had coffee for years. As long as I have a lot of animal fat I feel like I'm either not stressed or can handle anything as I feel so centered. Watching and listening to all your episodes, Dr. Chaffee! Ty.
