This an absolutely brilliant talk! I am a retired school teacher, and always tried to create the safe environment for my students. Neufeld shows us how attachment, feelings (the entire range), rest and play are all connected and VITAL for children to teach their potential. Understanding these connections and their development, together with the work of Gabor Maté, has helped me to finally heal my own lifelong depression and to find the inner peace that is the base of who I really am now. Learning to live and accept all my feelings have been the key! Thank you, Dr Neufeld!

You’re right. I just realized I were missing so much during my childhood and adolescent life. I felt sorry for myself as a younger child. How lonely and how lost that child was without even knowing it back then.

@@ملتقىدجلةوالفرات hey my advice would be just show them you love them and are glad when they come into your presence, equally make sure you are interested to find them in their playtime and join in or show interest. Be truthful with them if you are stressed without gaslighting them e.g. hey darling mommy is a little bit stressed with work at the moment, if I look grumpy it's not because of you - you are my sunshine, but work can make me like a grumpy hedgehog sometimes! Stay in prayer, worship together, God bless you 🙏
