Thank God for intelligent, fair-minded women, like Dr. Helen Smith, who are benevolent and compassionate towards men. In a courageous, but articulate way, Helen shoots down the gender stereotypes, while she boldly proclaims the truth by presenting the facts. In the midst of all the man-bashing that we hear, it is so encouraging to know that there are sympathetic women, like her, who have a kind, loving attitude toward us; and are promoting awareness and understanding of the problems that we, as men, go through. Helen Smith is truly the Joan of Arc of the men's movement. Let's keep her in our prayers that God will bless her abundantly, and continue to use her in a mighty way; and that she, in turn, will bless everyone with her sage words of wisdom. I cordially offer you my perspective on the matter. From what I've seen, most modern American women, who are between the ages of 18-34, are selfish, sexist, spoiled brats. In my opinion, these women don't need marriage. What they need is a good spanking, on a regular basis. I really believe that would solve a lot of their problems. DR. HELEN SMITH IS RIGHT! Benjamin Franklin once said, "Those who will trade freedom for security, will eventually end up with neither." There are men who have been cunningly deceived into believing that marriage will bring a sense of security; a secured lifetime companion, a secured lifetime lover, and a secured lifetime helpmate. Thus, they renounce their freedom through marriage. These men often end up experiencing tragedy and disaster. On the other hand, there are a lot of men who have wised up, and realize that modern marriage is a complete disgrace. These men, like me, have firmly resolved to cling tenaciously to their freedom; and to cherish it, protect it, and defend it for the rest of their lives. Nowadays, in America, it is better for men to remain single, than to get married and reproduce. For men, marriage and child-rearing have become shackles, chains, and slavery; where women are the slave drivers. Most modern wives, in this country, refuse to share EQUALLY in the conjugal duties of marriage; be it financial responsibilities or domestic responsibilities. Women are allowed to be liberated and free to act however they please; while men are forced to carry the cross of traditional masculine gender roles, often ending up nailed to that cross. In marriage, everything is centered on making the wife happy, regardless of how miserable the husband feels. Modern wives, in turn, show very little affection, love, respect, or appreciation to their husbands. Even sex becomes just another job for men to do, in order to please their wives. What's more, most modern men can handle their own domestic duties, such as cooking and cleaning. Above all, women and society show almost no appreciation to husbands and fathers, for all the hard work, the sacrifice, and the love, that they show their wives and families. So nowadays, WHAT BENEFIT IS MARRIAGE? For men, marriage has no benefits whatsoever; only stress, fatigue, discouragement, disappointment, despair; and feeling unloved as well as unappreciated. From what I've seen, most modern females (between the ages of 18-34) are selfish, greedy, untrustworthy, irresponsible, disrespectful, hateful, cruel, and basically evil. Their yearning for marriage is not rooted in love, but in a selfish desire to fulfill their feminine identity. Hence, the real problem, in this country, is not that there are no good men; the problem is that there are so few good women (between the ages of 18-34). To make matters worse, 50% of marriages end in divorce, with women initiating 80% of divorces. Even worse, if wives commit adultery, or abuse their husbands, they are usually not held accountable for the evil that they do. Many females will use their poisonous tongues, during and after marriage, to kill a man's reputation through slander, gossip, and lies. Worst of all, many ex-wives will deprive fathers and children of having healthy relationships by keeping fathers from having contact with their children. Any female who compels a man to marry her against his will (or who "baby traps" a man), is not acting out of love and devotion. She is acting out of selfishness, greed, manipulation, codependency, insecurity, cruelty, and possibly misandry. My friends, don't let any female deceive you by telling you that having a child together will bring "meaning" to the relationship. IT WON'T! It will only put the relationship to test. These females will often use your children as a tool for manipulation against you. I have seen many good-hearted men have their lives destroyed by evil women who commit such despicable acts. Worst of all, these females rarely have any remorse for the cruelty, the sins, and the evil that they commit. All these things destroy a man's life! Therefore, DON'T BLAME MEN FOR NOT WANTING TO GET MARRIED!

We also have it not so swell when it comes to social interaction and perception as well. Ironically, we're told to be more emotional and such, however when we attempt to help other men, we are hounded down for "supporting the patriarchy" etc...

Perpetual Crisis There’s a weight hanging off my shoulders And it’s slowly dragging me down I’m surfing the waves of emotions And I feel like I’m going to drown Lie’s deceit obsessions Nearly drove me insane As I watched you self medicating And blaming me for your pain Chorus Living in perpetual crisis Chaos and mayhem reigned supreme Your mother pulled the strings in the background Shattered love splintered dreams You tried all your emotional head games That came with your master’s degree That would have provoked violence In a lesser man than me Children’s loyalties questioned Their whole world torn apart By a selfish self centered mother With a stone for a heart Now the questions and the answers I really do not want to face What fatal flaws processed me? To pick you for a mate We all carry baggage That comes with strings attached Now I’m picking up the pieces Cause there’s no good looking back © 3/1/09 all rights reserved Robbie Dunn C/O Irish Entertainment Brisbane Australia

my viewpoint on marriage: while yes, i agree that men aren't getting the raw end of the deal, but only if you aren't able to find the good woman who really isn't feminist and agrees to quite literally not marry and maybe have a life while in relationship its gonna be something more, because both parties end up agreeing that they don't wish to marry, and instead just live a life together without a document saying "you're married now, meaning you're man has no rights and the woman has all the rights". theres one thing i agree with ron paul on, and that is that marriage should only be between churches, not what the state says. my viewpoint on wages and careers: if you're a man, get a job, don't go to college unless you're wanting a career that requires a degree by actual law. keep out of debt, and if at all possible don't EVER marry till you got enough income to at least give you basic support. get a good wage job that doesn't require long hours (10+ hours a day), and only then should you think about starting a relationship or a family. its also wiser to be self employed, we got all kinds of means to do so, so its not unlikely and hard to get self employed in the digital age. my viewpoint on families: having kids without marriage, is actually safer for everyones well being than the other way around. the only use a marriage does now, is makes for a deterrent. having kids without marriage is more safer sounding.
