Five retreats in the last few years. They are intense and I am a different person. Thanks Joe. I never thought I’d be a year sober, done with toxic jobs and relationships. Feels so good to know this and trust in my future. I had this peace pre pandemic and lost it to alcohol. So glad to be back. ❤ The work is hard. You are worth it and you are enough. Give yourself grace and do the work to rewire your beliefs. It’s so worth it!

Watching this captivating video stirs up painful memories of the recent end of my 4 year relationship. My beloved partner chose to depart, leaving me with an unyielding ache. Despite my relentless efforts to reconcile, I find myself grappling with frustration and an inability to envision a future without him. Despite attempts to purge him from my mind, I remain haunted by his absence, feeling compelled to express my longing here.

I love Joe! He really makes me think about how everything in our societies and cultures are built on nostalgia and remembering the past...which results in longing, and sometimes suffering. It might feel good to look back into the past but does it really serve us for the better? Beyond remembering things for basic survival, what good is it to dwell on painful memories. I was looking through a box of old books a few years ago and came across a book called "Only Forward". I don't know what the book was about but the book cover stuck in my head. Anytime I start to think about anything painful in my past, I just pull myself back to that book cover in my mind. It automatically resets my thoughts.

Out of all of the process’ for changing your beliefs and identity, I think he by far breaks it down the best. Realistically, once you have a belief, you should be able to decide to not have the belief. BUT, this is very hard to do for most. For everyday people, the meditations and everything behind this is golden teachings

Belief is a necessary element for trust to happen. You can’t trust in a new paradigm if your current paradigm contravenes it and inhibits that new belief. For example, I can’t trust that other people could consider me beautiful if I currently believe I’m ugly. You have to reach further to analyze the origins of that current belief. Where did it come from, how did it come about, who was it meant to serve? By this analysis, you determine whether the current belief (and which parts) are rooted in reality and truth that would be worth keeping. In this example, my mother suffered borderline disorder and narcissism. She needed division in our home to triangulate politics in order to maintain her marriage. So the house was divided in its loyalty to her and I was the scape goat. Half of me was acceptable half the time. The other half of me was meant to always be bad in that narrative so that my mother could succeed in her BPD world. As such, I was imprinted with internal divide and self loathing. That paradigm was a lie meant to serve a parasitic relationship. The moment you realize this level of a lie, the mask is removed from your reality. And you are free to believe in something so much more real about yourself. You are now at the precipice of new birth of the self and self discovery. It’s a realization that half of you had never existed in the light of day before. That the fake war inside of you has finally ended by the defeat of the lie. And for the first time you are in peaceful loving embrace with every disparate parts of yourself. You have found a new paradigm in duality and have dispelled the prior belief of division…which has been revealed to be a myth all along. So you are now fluid and free to believe in and trust in your future self.

Well, I love Joe’s work and appreciate his insights on relationships. As far as I know he’s never been in a long-term successful relationship. I hope your future guests that speak on this topic. I’ve actually demonstrated the ability to sustain a long-term healthy, happy relationship.

Or it's possible that not all connections are meant to last ? Maybe it's a myth we need one life long love

In the “it only takes 7 days/collective consciousness” part.. does social media work the same way? Or will our biogenesis only change from physical interaction after 7 days with the same people/person? So interesting.

I have a burning question for the comments here that wasn’t addressed in the video: Do you guys believe you can manifest a specific PERSON? Or when it comes to relationships, can we only manifest a type of person?

I do believe you can manifest a specific person, that could mean you’re going to transform your energy to the person you want to manifest (I believe) So it depends on the feeling, why that person? Why do you want that specific person?. I think it’s possible, but with the thought of if it’s not that person, it means someone better for you is coming, and you should feel ok with that. Always opened of possibilities of something greater than you could know.

This is no longer serving me, you can't create a new personal reality with as the same personality. That doesn't work. We gotta become somebody else. I wanna change to see my life change
