Every optician, optometrist and consultant has never heard of it. It's important that we emphasise this issue to spread the word to anyone who has never heard to help bring VS into public consciousness.

That's because they aren't human. I googled "static in vision" 15+ years ago. First I found HPPD, then shortly after I found VSS. There is no excuse for them to not know. That they not only don't know initially, but also never seem to start knowing afterwards, completely breaks suspension of disbelief for me. They're not real. We live in something similar to the matrix and they're just programs.

@@Acetyl53 I can hear your frustrations becoming resentment. I've felt this same kind of hopelessness and I have grieved for my vision. Before science discovers a treatment or cure I can personally recommend doing exercise (even just walking), and eating a diet of mostly natural foods (meat, vegetables, fruit), this may not cure the VS but it puts your body in a healthy state which is always beneficial - my VS has actually gotten better over the years through exercise, healthy diet, focussing on hobbies. I personally am going to experiment with a ketogenic diet soon to see if it can be beneficial also. Just remember you have a community here to support you and each other.

Any treatments for the non visual symptoms as well? Mainly the brain fog and disassociation

Eliminate grains from your diet for a while. Maybe try boron supplementation.

I was in an Eye Doctor Neuropthomologie in Germany. They dont offer any Therapy for Visual Snow and i said the Doctor also about the existing Therapie what the Doctor in the Video Talks about. But they dont offer it or anything. As Visual Snow Patient in Germany you are still completely lost. It would be aweseome to know, how i can get this Therapies in Germany.
