😭😭 I actually teared up! I can totally relate to the feeling of being able to look in the mirror and seeing your face again! My two year old puppies, Buddy and Holly, took me down when I was walking them last year and I fell flat in my face, like a tree. I had 2 black eyes and horrible bruises all over my face for 3 weeks! I am very fair, so it was sooo noticeable. Ugh. Congrats to this lovely lady! 😍 Kudos to Dr. Lee! She is such a light!

I also would get on sites that showed how my foot surgery and back surgery was done... i guess to know what they had to do to help me watching them seems to help my healing... thank you... I love how you care for your patients and making sure it is as painless as possible. I have been wondering why you don't close the procedure room door? I am very self conscious and wouldn't want people walking by seeing what your doing. But again, I love how caring you are.

They might not close the door due to the number of people in the room (Dr Lee, assistant/nurse, patient, camera crew, etc.). These were filmed during Covid, so keeping the room well ventilated may have been for safety. In many clinic and hospital set-ups, we have rooms adjoining the OR that are "staff only" and tend to be mainly storage or work areas for colleagues doing paperwork/prep work, etc (no patients in there). We keep the door open so that, in an emergency, we can get assistance in there quickly and we can access emergency kit and medications. Any good clinic or facility will ensure you are never overlooked during a procedure - for both your safety and your privacy. If you're ever going somewhere for a procedure and you're concerned, raise it with staff. If they dismiss your worries, cancel and go to another facility (& I say that as a doctor). If they can't/won't respect your privacy and safety, then (in most countries) they're breaking the law, and definitely should not be trusted with your health. Hope that helps 👍

I once had a cyst removed from my right temple that was blue and purple because I had dyed my hair and I developed an ingrown hair inside a cyst, the inside turned the same color as the hair dye. I must have caused the cyst while I was dying my hair because I remember hitting my head on the shower head and I was bleeding a bit. It wasn't even a big deal but it grew a cyst. It was setting on my hair line beside my ear for a year. The ingrown hair was very long and thick. I had a ingrown hair as long as between my knee and the floor that grew in my head when I was 11 and 12 years old. It was rolled up very tight in blue and purple goo. The doctor was surprised too. They never seen a dyed cyst before. I do have albinoism too so my skin is an odd translucent color on parts of my body. The hair was an odd color like a pinkish blush or the color of a blushing cheek. It's the best way to explain it. I also had natural pink white hair until I was 25. My eyebrows have always been black though. My friends use to call me ghost. ☺️ I had one bully who called me Casper and my friends defended me by saying I am Casper the friendly ghost. They made me feel better. Bullies need help. They have personal issues.
