Despite its flaws I actually really did enjoy the new Halloween trilogy. Having said that there was a huge Loomis shaped hole in that entire saga.

I do love the first, second and forth films as the Loomis trilogy. Laurie was a boring character until 2018. 5 and 6 were pretty awful for Loomis though. 5 especially really makes him look like an A hole. As with the rest of the cast.
