These are so cute! ❤ I bought a special 1461 pair in Edinburgh two years ago and I sized down too. I kinda regretted doing that but two years and a lot of shoe wax later, I’m glad I bought that number. I think you did right ☺️

I recently had Adrian loafers - the are murder to get on ! Had them stretched and they are a bit better but still bad to get on. They fit once on. I’ve doused them in wonderbalm and bought a shoe horn. Hopefully they will be ok as they were super reduced (£55)

Hey! My size in vans is like an 8.5 us womens and im a 6UK in most docs except these one which I size down to a UK 5. They were super tight but now they fit like a glove after stretching them out. Since they are a loafer style you want it more fitted. Hope that helps!
