This is one of my favorite songs ever. I never thought anything could top Tarja's rendition, then Floor joined the band and added so much more energy to the ending. I got to hear her perform it in 2015 and it brought me to tears. And then you came along. The way you blended what both of them did best into a single cover was masterful. WOW. I thought I had seen enough of these to expect a anything, but damn.. most of the video I was thinking "Oh that's interesting, she's channeling Tarja", and then 9:00 came around and all I could think was "WOAH". Bravo! Amazing performance. The control you have over your voice to keep such a beautiful controlled vibrato on a belt like that... I can't even begin to imagine. BRAVO.

Hell, no! She's now a member of Temperance, a great band that i highly suggest you! She would be a total waste in nw,since nowadays nightwish are just a pale shadow of their former self. And not since a couple of years. And i'm trying to be objective, because on a personal level i stopped listening to them after DPP. Before you ask me,yes, i'm tarja's biggest fan AND i love anette AND one of the only two songs i like on imaginaerum is Slow Love Slow. And i've been a fan of floor since af's debut ;) Sad to say since nw have been a great love of mine but i think they're artistically dead.

I am now subbed and have watched many of Miss Kristin's videos. I am a fan of Floor Jansen. Until this moment, I thought it impossible for anyone to perform GLS as well as Floor did at Wacken 2013. I just got proven wrong. What a voice! What control WHAT POWER!!I loved her rendition. Perfection all over again. Count me in! Yes, this lady stands on the shoulders of a giant but I concur, she easily could fill in Miss Floor.

This would qualify as a vocal ACHIEVEMENT!!!! Your gorgeous voice handles this very difficult song with both grace, and power. I always thought Tarja lost some of her annunciation due to her rather pronounced Finnish accent, still do to this day. However, you seem to be very aware of that and do a marvelous job of pronouncing every syllable clearly and cleanly. Even when you go into the later break in the song, you have such power and presence in your voice. Dare I say it.... You're almost TOO strong a vocalist for this song!!!! And YES!!!! You NAILED THAT LAST NOTE!!!! Floor Jansen herself would be, well......floored.... heheheheheheheh

Normally I am really sceptic when it comes to covering a nighwish song. And especially this one, which is really a magical piece brought to perfection by the combination of Tuomas' composition and Floor's performance on stage. BUT: You nailed it, it's a version of it's own and still the song it has to be. I am absoulutely stunned and adore it. Let me just say, that 1 month ago, i saw Nightwish Live, it was a blast!. Today is my name aniversary - this is the best birthday present ever (the fact that i just met you) . Instant Subscribe. Standing ovations. I have listened to your version a bunch of times. it is perfect in the sense that it combined Tarja & Floor's version - you will please all the fans , so i am expecting the Nightwish Army in 3,2,1... :). Just 2 small mentions. at first i felt it was too operatic in the first minutes. Twas too much vibrato, but i understood it was somehow a liason with the choir part. I always say, one of the best parts in this song, is at the end, after the vocal parts, where just the choir sings. Unfortunately it was fading away... it made me sad because otherwise it is a stellar performance. Well done!
