There is so much we will never know because of the destruction of so many records at the end of the war. It is remarkable these companies kept these records.

Standard oil was in business with IG farben and had the synthetic oil and rubber patents. When Japan took over all of the rubber supplies and us faced a crisis standard oil got called out for withholding these patents

As the comment below says INCREDIBLY INTERESTING. My personal studies and interests have really been about the Fighting Element of WW2, because this aspect has never really come up too much, and we know why. This was a fantastic Lecture.

Excellent Lecture on ; " Monopsony " and " Skinner Economy ", lots of the time no one realizes what they are doing until they have to, caught in a Vicious cycle of corruption. Part of Social Cooperate Responsibility is educating on repercussions and consequences of actions, whilst not interfering with the internal affairs of other countries. Quite Complex, thank you very much for this Lecture.

Everyone knows that Germany was an extremely enthusiastic follower of Hitler’s evil massacre. So much for the Catholic religion & the 10 Commandments- thou shalt NOT kill!

Dr. Haye's presentation is remarkable! Thank you so much for sharing with me an infamous fragment of the Hitler's Nazi horrendous regimen, via this lecture. It must have been a painful odyssey to recollect such memories and to recount them; they only echo the evilness of Hitler and his followers. The crimes and cruelties committed against my sons and daughters, my fathers and mothers, my brothers and sisters hurt me deeply, regardless their ethnicity and nationality. In Isaiah 2: 4, Jehovah God, the Creator and Source of life, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, promises: "He will be judge among the nations and will settle matters in relation to many peoples. They will turn their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. The nations will no longer raise their swords against each other and learn no more to wage war." My immediate neighbors are Jews and I am a Jehovah's Witness. Their hearts are superior than pure gold by far. They are extremely kind. The gentleman takes care of my trash can every Wednesday without my asking him to do so. They are lovely human beings, and they are not in need of the smallest improvement.

Maybe because these corporations are again partnered with German government.. And have been partnered with American government since immediately pardoning most of them.. except about 20 chairman of board who served 8-12 years before returning to the same jobs, instead of making sure these corporations themselves can not do anything like that again. Or is it the genetic experimentation at a global level? Or is it that even in a "free country" you can not criticize the government unless all tv stations are in exact phrase repitition telling you to? Or is it all the laws passed in the last few decades about mass internment, detainment and relocation of citizens? Or is it the level of control these corporations have over nearly all members and aspects of the UN? It is happening again and there are a hundred reasons to call it familiar. Especially if you had family who lived through it.

Puzzled on the number subscribed, and more so the amount of public comments. Perhaps the subscribed number is due to this video being a hidden gem. I found it whilst wading through lots of shallow mediocre material D

Another thoroughly riveting lecture given by Prof. Hayes. Ii is my understanding that, during the 1920s, Farben had on staff a collection of Nobel Laureates second to none, many of whom were Jews. It must have been obvious that, during the years following 1933 as Farben was being "Nazified," Farben was in the process of losing many of its best minds. To my own mind, it's puzzling that the US--and other states for that matter--should be so blind and bigoted as not to seize the chance, through unrestricted immigration of German Jewry, to benefit themselves mightily.

It was then a rare opportunity, in my view, to acquire a good portion of the best thought, achievement, and ability to be found in the western tradition. And, to paraphrase Mark Twain, the act would have gratified some and astonished the rest.

@Ghostshadows306
@Ghostshadows306 6 ай бұрын
No one is saying anyone had to be a hero. You don’t have to be a hero to not use slave labor and to not go out of your way take advantage of one of the worst atrocities in human history. You just don’t need to do it and can go do something else. Of course by doing something else you’re not going to reap the benefits as Hayes said, if you don’t do it, they’ll find someone else who will and you’ll be left behind. But you must be off your rocker to think I would take money and business success over having a legacy these corporate heads have for the rest of eternity. Yeah these guys were all thinking Hitler was the greatest thing since sliced bread and because they did they made the ultimate fools of themselves. They either didn’t want to see the reality of the Nazi regime or didn’t care about their role in supporting it. If they didn’t know or didn’t care about what they were doing and who they were supporting when were talking about the worst crimes committed in human history, then they deserve to be lumped together with them. deserve to be lumped along with them. And just because you would have done the same as them certainly doesnt mean I or anyone else would have. We wouldn’t have to be heroes to have chosen not to participate unless we were for forced to. It’s been proven you werent punished for saying you didn’t want to shoot women and children or unarmed jews, and you weren’t forced to use slave labor and have factories in death camps. You just didn’t have to do those things if you didn’t want to and I have no sympathy those who for did.
