I'm certainly not an expert on the history of WW2 and much less the genocide of Jews during that era. But allow me to say this lecture has provided one of the most clear and succinct summaries of causal factors for the horrors of mass murder of Jews in WW2 i have heard (or read) so far. Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing with me an infamous fragment of the Hitler's Nazi horrendous regimen, via this lecture. It must have been a painful odyssey it is to recollect such memories and to recount them. The crimes and cruelties committed against my sons and daughters, my fathers and mothers, my brothers and sisters hurt me deeply, regardless their ethnicity and nationality. In Isaiah 2: 4, Jehovah God, the Creator and Source of life, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, promises: "He will be judge among the nations and will settle matters in relation to many peoples. They will turn their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. The nations will no longer raise their swords against each other and learn no more to wage war." My immediate neighbors are Jews and I am a Jehovah's Witness. Their hearts are superior than pure gold by far. They are extremely kind. The gentleman takes care of my trash can every Wednesday without my asking him to do so. They are lovely human beings, and they are not in need of the smallest improvement.

An interesting lecture by Dr Hayes. However, a dialogue of appeasement and platitudes is not going to solve the ongoing antisemitic friction. It is painful, and often insulting for the recipient to hear and discuss the real issues. But that is what must happen for consensual understanding to occur. It would be loud, angry, and spiteful, but the alternative is to bury our heads in the sand. The real background of the lead up to the holocaust is both very old, and diabolically contentious. I recognise Dr Hayes knowledge of the subject of the holocaust, and yet he failed to expand on the real background at all. It is far more deep rooted in European history than mere mistrust. I would not expect Americans to be cognitive of this history, but I am absolutely sure Dr Hayes is, and yet fails to bring these issues to the table. And the reasons for the holocaust will re-occur again and again, until the subject is openly and unrestrainedly discussed. That cannot happen when any accusation is dismissed under an umbrella of antisemitism. Why do I say that? Because the holocaust is not in any way a precedent. It is in fact a carbon copy of events that occured in Britain (and Ireland and France) almost a millenium earlier, in 1290. Surprised? The reasons run all the way back to the life of Christ, and implicitly includes the enlightenment of Islam. But you know what? I cannot even write those things here, because it is illegal. And that is precisely why we have learnt nothing from the WW2 holocaust.

Interesting lecture : I have recently finished reading a book (Against our better judgement) by (AlisonWeir). If what she says is accurate well..... Found in on Amazon : please read it and tell me what you think. I want a civil conversation: and let's keep the dialog focused on the facts . Looking forward to hearing from you

The bombers in the Doolittle Raids could not make the round trip. They ditched in China after bombing Japan. And the bombing of Japan in early 1942 was considered symbolic. The death camps were reachable and America does bomb for symbolic reasons.

On the day of Pentecost 3000 Jews believed the message about Jesus and were Baptized in the water and scripture says they were added to the fold. Most of them were farmers. And no one knows how many Jews or Gentiles they told about Jesus. But it would appear there are still also many Jews that still go by the Old Testament.

I think your thoughts here are not fitting . But with that said,, 🤢you do know that Romans wrote the book with their angle on things. Not Moses , or other great heroes but murdering Romans who killed the great and caring Christ.

@@mitchb4084 Yes, the Romans did the crucifixion, but there is no denying the Pharisees (you know who) incited it! P. Pilate wanted to free Jesus but the crowd (you know who) wanted Jesus crucified. They (you know who) chose to free Barnabas instead of Jesus. Let us be honest, beside the Romans there were others involved (you know who)!

@@mitchb4084The reality is the Jewish leaders plotted to kill Christ, that some Jews chose to believe in him and then later the Romans destroyed the Jewish temple and thus the heart of the Jewish religion. All that Judaism is now is an ethnic tribal religion of people who no longer have a temple or a covenant with God (the whole point of which is about having this Temple.) Whining is not gonna change this.

When the first guest referred to "our leader," I checked the date. I thought at first he was referring to Dump. But then, I realized he said the word "leader," and I understood it couldn't have been him in anyway. My apologies for going into the cesspool and dredging up that turd. However, it is sadly relevant. If you gave Dump half the chance offered to a Hitler, a Stalin, even a Putin or Duterte, he would jump at it. That has been in my mind since early in his term. It's there now as I, along with everyone else, know that he will stop at nothing to get back into the White House. Once there, he will stop at nothing to ensure that he stays there. I found it especially chilling when he reminded us that during the 30s, there was a large-scale arrest and incarceration of political opponents. Fast forward 80 years. You have an arrogant, rude lout getting his sheep to chant "LOCK HER UP!" in reference to his opponent. No one can honestly tell me that's just words, just "galvanizing his base." If Dump had the chance to jail anyone who spoke out against him, he would take it in a heartbeat, then brag about it. The worst thing of all is that his sheep would love him even more for it. Anybody who observes this and ISN'T at least concerned needs to wake up. History doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes...
