JonniesMusica Okay for one the breakfast clubs troll Charlemagne is notorious for acting a damn fool and putting his guest in the hot seat. Two, the show covers hip hop and is geared towards the younger generation so it's already out of Dr. Phil's leage. So you said what does he have to lose?..The question is what does he have to gain! He's already one of the biggest names out there yet he decides to come on and speak his mind. Now that takes some big ol wrinkly balls of steel.

This explanation of privilege also applies to smart people, good looking people, rich people. tall people, black people in the hood, Japanese people in Japan, members of any given majority in a group, etc. Only losers are worried about this shiz.
@rebeccajohnson523
@rebeccajohnson523 5 жыл бұрын
@@ceb4382 i actually agree with that. Adversity comes in manny differents forms and all kinds of people form negative conclusions about each based on insignificant details but what i was referring to was the part he said about white priveledge not being necessarily about the individual experience but more in terms of group experiences. And the fact of the matter there are still racially motivationed injustices in this world and people of color have suffered for it as a group. As a white person i hate admitting. I wish it wasn't true. Its embarrassing. The truth hurt. I dont think wanting equel pay and rights is too much to ask. But unfortunately there are still are still losers in the world who still decide things like a persons value in the job place based on their race or sex. And people still hurt each other because of race, sexuality and politics. And yes those people are losers. Its their fault we have to have these conversations. However i have to add theres no such thing as reverse racism. Its just racism. If you judge or mistreat somebody unfairly because of their culture, religion, sexuality, politics how they dress, if their attractive. Or anything really, then you're a shitty person. Call it whatever you want.

@@ceb4382 oh i do. Im an equal opportunist when it comes to calling bullshit. I do not subscribe to any group thinking. Both sides are just doing too much lately. Everyone wants to be heard but nobody wants to listen. It doesnt help that there are people on both sides that just want to spew hatred at the problem like gasoline to a fire. It solves nothing. Changes need to be made in the way we all think. Policies need to be made that benifits everybody, not just specific groups. And most of all we need to be more aware of ourselves and take responsibility for own wrong doings. If everyone in the world did that. This world would be a better place.

You know, I've been watching Dr Phil for years and, while Ive enjoyed it for entertainment value, that's all I ever took it as: entertainment. Dr Phil is just a television personality with writers and producers like any other reality show. I even presumed him to be slightly narcissistic. But this interview was actually really insightful and gave me a new perception of Dr Phil. He really is an intelligent, educated professional with a good head on his shoulders. I don't think that "image" is just an image, he's really just trying to help people live their best lives. I really enjoyed watching this!

I think some of the BC hosts could stand to mature a little. Everything isn't a fucking joke. Especially if someone makes a mistake. That's not an automatic invitation to crack a joke or wise crack. As far as dude thinking he's a god proves he delusional. Since Biblical time there have been ppl who declared themselves gods. Didn't really work out well for many of those folks. It also violates the first & most important commandment "Thou shalt have no other gods before Me." Those who elevate themselves to god like status have no real reverence for the one & only God of our creation!

"DR" Phil is the guy who staged an intervention with the parents of a young white American because she converted to Islam and found peace in it after being a junkie for 5 plus years, living in the streets, selling her body and so on. She found peace within herself in this religion, got clean, got married, and finally found a work and a stable life. Asking fucking disgusting demeaning questions like "why do that to your parents" "Do you understand their concern" etc, presenting it like she was doing a fucking horrible crime. They did take down the episode after the uproar that ensued, you might find it somewhere online. He is the biggest hypocrite out there, a disgrace for our profession. I met Oprah once when I worked at the Boca Resort and Club back in the mid 90's as a Valet. I loaded up her rental mercedes with loads of new bought clothes for an hour and she did not even tip me, not even one dollar! Stedman was in the car 30 minutes before she came and did not even say thanks. I met Denzel Washington and he had me get a hat out of his car and gave me $10 and took the time to sign an autograph which I still have to this day that reads " God Bless! Denzel Washington." Denzel was the best celebrity I ever met! Very humble and generous dude.

BigBoss7777777 well obviously it’s seems exploited because it’s blasted on a TV show but there’s no other way that Dr.phil will hear the story. I’m sure he’s highly paid even if he didn’t have a show. He has a doctorate. Since “DR” in his name. People wouldn’t get the services he provides for free unless the go on the show. So I guess it’s a win-win.

When Dr. Phil said that they are going to start making teachers responsible for the student that is a bully outside of the classroom my heart dropped... This can NOT happen not only for how abused it can get, stress of the 150 students they take care of has just now increased further, and you might hate this "THEY DON'T GET PAID ENOUGH FOR THAT!". Yes i work in education, specifically special needs students.

This whole entire interview should be viral. Y'all hit on so many topics that so many people need to hear. When he was explaining anxiety I felt like he was explaining my mind. Like when Charlemagne was saying Yep after everything he was explaining I was saying Yep too. All parents should listen to this about bullying and just to educate their children not just on bullying but on predators online. No time is to young because if they have social media accounts they need to know what bad is out there searching for them. If our phone company's do shut off children's phones or tablets at a certain time that would make such a great impact on the world. Im 30 and don't have kids but when i do we will have dinner at the table like when i was growing up and have real discussions. When i was growing up we had wheel of fortune on while we ate. I even feel like that was not good because I was very sheltered and my family was not the type to really just discuss things going on in the world. Lets do better for our kids future.
