If you think it's like a normal church you need to watch more videos about the Church of Wells. Definitely a cult. They even upload videos, one of which they let Catherine Grove speak and she talks about not being allowed to meet her parents of the property etc. She keeps talking about what is allowed of her, she talks so slow and softly and looks scared/broken. She says her and her fiancé got into an argument about her parents and listen to the way she takes all the blame. Whenever the men from the "church" speak they rant loudly and barley take breaks to breathe. Completely opposite to the way their women speak. The control and manipulation this "church" uses is clear and horrible.

Lived in Lufkin Tx. Everybody knows these people. I ran into them at a dollar tree store when I first lived there. As I was talking to them a little old lady jumped into the conversation and flat out said it was a cult and to watch out. They left after checking out and three others there spoke up warning me. True story, but here is the kicker they seemed just really pumped about their church. I didn’t get any danger signs from them. Very thankful for those others in line that warned me.

Well I wouldnt say the free clothes and food is always a bad thing lol. I used to work at a methodist church (and I'm not methodist) and they'd hold food pantries for people of all religions, no qualifications needed and as i worked there i wasnt ever forced to be part of them. Just did my job (translating, organizing, etc.). Very kind. It's not bad to help people out with free stuff. :) if you look at it that way lol

OMG, my grandson is caught in this Cult! We haven't seen him for over 4 years. Grandson sent his father an email about 4 years ago stating that God wanted him to cut off ALL family and friends. They want him because he plays the Cello . His mother went to see his Master's recital and she left a card and note in his cello case and someone convinced him to file an order of protection against her. She lives in Tennessee and he moved from the Tennessee branch to a branch in Florida.

Patricia Clements I hate to say this, but y’all need to gather your resources and do what they used to do. And hire these trained people to get him out, they are used to cult indoctrination. Unfortunately the laws kind of have been changed where it’s harder. Years ago they had many successful recoveries and got them deprogrammed. I seriously would love to help people to deprogram them. It’s pretty much your only shot at getting him back otherwise he will waste years and years of his life and maybe get sick or have children that will be abused by the cult leaders and the senior group members. They used to have people advertise that and who were not afraid to do it and very committed to getting people out, now I think people that help rescue people are more discreet. And you need to write your local and state elected officials and the White House and ask them to change the laws regarding rescuing people trapped and brainwashed by a cult who also financially abuses them, uses them for labor and or sexual reasons or to breed to increase the cult etc. Many cult leaders use young attractive females to marry the men that protect the cult leader as an incentive. I will be praying he gets out. And hopefully does not stay in it for years and years. I love the cello and have a famous friends who are the one of the worlds top violinists. He was a prodigy and my female friend was too. Her ex husband plays the cello and she performs with him sometimes. They are still friends. But he is very temperamental. The bow of her instrument cost 18, 000 dollars. Josh bell my other famous friend was already playing world stages with his Stradivarius which used to be 350, 000 dollars but I imagine is even more valuable, when he was just a very young guy. He is a great guy.

This is interesting, I've been around people somewhat like this, they we're fundamentally sincere people in their belief system. You never know about the guys at the top. But to actually drug someone, this would be very surprising as it contradicts any belief system, can't be maintained and opens up a can of worms with potential prison. I dont see even a cult going this route and I know how its easy to demonize people that are very different then yourself. The speech pattern Dr. Phil was talking about, I've seen in people trying to be conscious of their thoughts because they are trying to listen to the spirit, truth, their intuition, whatever, at least that's what they may think they are doing. Now I want to also say that if Law enforcement does get involved with Church of wells I want to say there might be backlash for going against the 1st amendment, but this is where I want Law enforcement involved if their forcing people against their will that's kidnapping!
