I have just finished translating subtitles to Spanish. Since Dr. Hallberg said "it's your responsibility to let your friends, your coworker, your family members understand that they are not trapped in an irreversible condition." I would like to share the video with those near me not English speakers. Just let me know where I can send the file. All the best.

her Ted Talk changed my husband's life, we went keto and his a1c went from 9.5 to 4.5 and he is now off all meds and controlling his type2 diabetes with diet alone, and has also lost 90 lbs. I was not diabetic, but I have also lost over 100 lbs and feel so much healthier it is unbelievable. I wish we had done this years ago.

I know its ridiculous that its "not sustainable" because do they say this to smokers that quit? No they don't. It is really sad how we set folks up to fail. All I can say is I feel so much better, the numbers are great, but honestly the feeling better is really what motivates me, who doesn't want to feel better?

Thank you Dr. Hallberg for this presentation. It was packed with valuable information concerning the efficacy of low carb diets to improve metabolic health, and it was succinct enough that most people would not be deterred from watching it. Despite my coworkers observing me lose over 100 lbs through a combination of a low carb diet and intermittent fasting, my coworkers still have misgivings about the diet, and many of them are obese, and are either borderline diabetic or have full blown diabetes. This video will go a long way to convince them to adopt a dietary pattern that has changed my life, as well as the lives of thousands of people.

Dr. Hallberg has been lauded in many comments on many websites, but what is lacking is a Wikipedia page dedicated to her life story and work. Her closest colleagues could see that her page gets created. When searching for someone online, some people skip those that are not included in Wikipedia. I would hope that her stellar reputation as a low carb advocate has nothing to do with some of the "orthodoxy" that Wikipedia enforces according to "conventional" or "accepted" medical sources which she fought to oppose in the area of low carb. That, unfortunately, would result in Wikipedia making editorial comment(s) associating her work with "quackery" which is a disservice to her life and work. If validation is being recorded in Wikipedia then Wikipedia must change itself in order to remain valid.

You Tube channel "NutritionFacts.org" and Dr. Greger have posted the video "Does a ketogenic diet help diabetes or make it worse?". I know that Dr. Greger promotes a vegan diet, so does his posted research in this video that the ketogenic diet is bad correct? I am a type 2 diabetic and sincerely appreciate a response. Thank you.

@4shizzie2152 You need to learn how to differentiate between authentic science such as this video and religious dogma run by the high priest of the vegan religion by Gregor! 1. He cherry picks his data! 2. His “data” are from ASSOCIATIONAL STUDIES- which is rubbish! 3. Even his ASSOCIATIONAL “data” is super rubbish since it has a RELATIVE RISK ratio of LESS THAN TWO --aka super rubbish indistinguishable from random chance ! Here is one key question you can ask to challenge whether or not carbohydrates are needed --What is the name of its deficiency disease with references? Also check out Gregor’s “studies” they don’t follow either the Bradford-Hill protocol or the GRADE protocol. Be a critical thinking !

If what she says made any sense then populations like the Italian population (with pasta and bread at every meal) would be at greater risk then anyone else. The reported number of diabetic cases in Italy in percentage was 2.9% in the 1980's, slightly more now due to fad diets, american diets and so on, invading people's life and minds, unfortunately.
@Steve1000ish5 жыл бұрын
You're not taking into account how much more active Italian societies are compared the sedentary life-style of most Americans. Moving the body has ALOT to do with keeping the body optimal and functioning as it should.

So, do you suppose feeding them additional pasta and bread will improve their type 2?
