I wish Dr. Seuss actually rewrote the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelations. I could just imagine what the first few verses would be: One day God said "I need and new lark..." "...to stop me from bumping around in the dark." So he searched his cupboard, he search on his porch, He searched his basement, where he found his torch. Turned on his torch, he shone it so bright, That God jumped for joy and said "Let there be light!"

Genises 1:1 In the beginning there was nothing of worth, than God came along and made Hevean and Earth.
@alexgough85212 жыл бұрын
At the start there was dark So God let there be light And so he divided the day and the night But then, He decided the Earth was too wet And so he created some dry firmament And put there some grass and some fruit and some seed And some stars and the moon, and whatever He needs to think "It is good! I would like to live here! And anyone else in my image: a peer, or a thrall, or a friend, or a Who, or a Why, would be happy to live here and, well.... multiply!" Then he thought up a Man and a Woman and said: "That seems pretty good. Now I'm going to bed."

@@Nope2479 Expressing one's difference of opinion is neither oppression nor prozelytation anymore than declaring one's belief. Either accept that people have differing opinions and allow them the freedom to express it, or uniformly oppose all expressions of opinion. You'd be wrong and an asshole for trying to shut everyone up, but at least you have a modicum principle to your approach. If one guy can go around saying they believe in something, but you chastise the person who disagrees, you're the asshole. The only reason it's hard for atheists to get along with theists is because everyone wants to shut atheists up. You'll never get respect from anyone while trying to silence dissidents. And frankly, if the minister/bishop who made this OP isn't worried about the guy's comment, why are you trying to be the White Knight? You're just being an asshole, itching to call someone what you're most guilty of.
