To be fair the criminal already shot which endangered his life, why won't you shoot back? Isn't there a proceeding where if the suspect already had the intention to kill a person you would also have the duty to protect yourself from the person, but i get why people's mad at him, it's because it's morally wrong to take someone's life yet he bragged it like it was something clear cut.

Technically the man shot to kill and the officer was grazed by the bullet due to the blood. Had it been a better shot, it would had killed him outright or brain damage if he was lucky. So shooting back to defend himself and he was fleeing, if he got away then he could had killed others. If the dude drop the weapon and surrendered then shot, that would be alot worse or if Yu missed his shot and hit someone else . I'm no law genius, it's not an easy situation but yeah what did you expect to happen. But Yo bragging about it didn't help his case either.

Yes he was pretty much 100% in the right to shoot the criminal, the criminal has fired at him which puts him as an “active threat” to his life and potentially others around him, that criminal could’ve turned around at any moment and shot him too. So yes he was correct to shoot the criminal but he was too arrogant and got himself fired.

Pretty fucking stupid or you to, if this is what you consider him to make him the 2nd worst character, its fucking dumb, he was in 100% in the right to shoot that criminal and he is very loud mouthed but does being a loud mouth make you the worst person ever? Magma and Ginro are like that but I really doubt you hate them as much as Yo and anyways, Yo is the only person in the kingdom of science who probably has good gun training and that basically makes him play a big role in any later parts where shooting is involved.
