My dude I just want you to know your sobriety is an inspiration for me. The way you're able to truly have fun is something I haven't been able to do yet and I've got 2yrs but I know I'll get there when I'm supposed to. Don't take this wrong but I use you as an example for new ppl who don't think they can do it and when I'm struggling with faith in myself I play before and after videos of you

I lost my friend to an addiction to heroin fairly recently. She was clean from it for 12 years, but lost the battle when it came into her life again. Anyone who fights for their sobriety every single day is an inspiration to me. One day at a time, one hour at a time, one minute at a time. Blessings to you all 🙏

I used to binge this show. Those 2 doctors really helped a lot of people. Imagine going for surgery for something you are super insecure about or an awful tragedy left you disfigured and it turns out worse than it was to begin with. Then having to go in for another surgery worrying it can’t be fixed or be worse. For those who haven’t watched the show, they take on cases where the botched surgery is actually negatively affecting the person’s life. The cases they take are exponentially more complicated than the initial operations. They always use an example of insane plastic surgery where someone comes in and wants something outrageous and they turn it away. The show is educational in a lot of ways, even psychologically. Props to the surgeons who have the mind, passion and the stomach to practice and change lives, I have to look away during the surgery sometimes 🫣 it is amazing to see how happy the patient is to finally able to let go of all the negative feelings they had to carry.

I love that as a plastic surgeon he is very open about what can go wrong and gives these graphic descriptions of necrosis, infection, gangrene, scar tissue deformity etc. There are so many unethical plastic surgeons out there and I'm sure they minimize talking risk factors as much as possible. Like they would have clients sign forms that outline risks but they probably keep their language very neutral. Terry on the other hand is so sincere about risks. I'm a small c and I wanted implants. I had my son at 16 and my breasts didn't bounce back the same after breastfeeding and I feel like i didn't get to even develop properly before my breasts were damaged by it, But hearing Terry talk about all these botched breast implants and all the risks such as the nipple dying and how the body can reject the implant even in a surgery that is done well has made me appreciate what I have and I don't want a boob job anymore. I would still consider a nose job because I broke my nose in an ice skating accident when I was 14. I had the perfect nose, little and straight. I mean it's not so bad now it's not large but there is a bump on one side. I'm 36 I've been living with the bump from for ages and I'm not insecure but I think I would breathe better if the deviation was fixed. I wished my parents had fixed it as soon as it broke instead of leaving me like that but my mum pretty much told me to get over it. Maybe they could have sued the girl who caused the accident. She was falling and decided to grab me as she fell to soften her landing 🙄 I guess it was a reflex she got scared and grabbed me but the blade on her skate also cut my face. I guess you assume a risk when you are at a skating rink so there probably wouldn't of been a case but the least she could have done was pay to fix my nose since she botched it. If I broke a girls nose I would feel terrible. I would want to help.
