This is a riot. As a non-trad pre-med, I'm in a class right now that is requiring we do "informational interviews" on individuals working in careers in which we're interested, and report back on what we've learned. My mind immediately went to you and some of the folks over at the forensic pathology subreddit, and then I thought "Yeeeaah... I'm just gonna fudge this assignment and base it off the videos Drs. Wolfe and others have already created covering THIS EXACT THING." 😆

It's good that you did this blanket interview, because your subspecialty is in a high need field that is likely going to grow. This gives kids a chance to consider the rewards of an demanding field requiring strong deductive reasoning, along with strong written and verbal skills. There's more than just cutting into bodies. It demands you to have multiple abilities outside science and including medicolegal. NOT easy.
