Sad that Heike left the band, her vocals really elevated Sovran and Under a Godless Veil to the next level for Draconian. I know Lisa Johansson has a similar range and has done good work with the band but I fear that their next album won't hit the same heights.

Agreed, I've always loved Draconian, and Lisa was the singer when I discovered them back with arcane rain feel. But there's just something about Heike. An ethereal haunting, that matched Draconians sound so damn well. Of course I'm excited for what they do next, but I fear under a godless veil, will never be topped.

There have been those over the years? Who hassled her a lot for her obviously young but growing talent. She may not have (initially) had a lot of formal vocal “training ” but that doesn’t change that she still has always had a natural talent and quite obvious that has always goven it her all. People suck man theyre so critical. lets see them get up there. Just because you can do the “hokey pokey via karaoke??! Like really... And her range has grown exceedingly. The work from the new album sounds a great deal more mature... One thing I will say? About this performance... its truly one of the most magic experiences to be able to see. Im thanful that this man has taken time to put this up. Excellent quality too considering the compressions I don’t care what anyone has to suggest “poorly” about her voice captivating would do such little justice. And (her stage presence here actually) is highly reminiscent of when Mr Bungle played “What the World Needs Now” on Mew years? 2000 was it? I went a month later. And this rendition is absolutely straight from the the heart. (Soul) Hm she gave this performance everything she had. Poor kid was crying. She brushed it off as to her thoughts on something “worldly” but that didn’t sound particularly convincing. Wonderful range and exceedingly emotional. Vulnerable. This is a visceral performance. I think when she’s comfortable with where shes at she really truly shines. This performance here is directly “on par” with Aleah (if not superceding). And I have no doubt she agrees herself. Proud Unfortunate the things in her head. It was a lot like “Holt” nobody ever understood just how literally he was addressing “the” third party. Revelations is to a great degree similar. (Im not much of a christian but knowledge is key. O wonder at times if people ever consider the implications of the context in these words? And many others... Nevertheless Im on the case. Been on it. ​@@LORELEI4_4_4I personally don't hear a ton of mistakes (I don't have an ear for that sort of thing) but the entire appeal of live music is to further feel the human element, at least in my opinion. A couple of voice cracks here and there make it better. Also, Heiki, this song has been my happy place for over 3 years whenever life has been too overwhelming for me. I have an anxiety problem and this has always put me at ease. Thank you, genuinely.

It's always easy speak through a keybord, but in the stage she's there and it's a very huge that she left Draconian... with all her defect, she's very one of the best singers in the metal, this is a real fact...
