If Dracula is a love story, then Moby Dick is a ghost story. Ridiculous!

@@milesknightestrada3286 I also haven’t seen a faithful adaptation of it. The 1956 version is pretty good, but the psychological complexity of the novel is lost.

"Dracula" is a love story between Mina and Jonathan.

@@johnburnside7828 There is love between Mina and Jonathan, but it is not the focus of the novel. He is absent throughout much of it. That also wasn’t what Waltz was talking about. He was talking about Dracula.

@@batman5224 I'm sorry. I didn't mean to argue with you. I understand what you said and agree with it. I was just commenting that it's really the love between Jonathan and Mina that defeats Dracula in the end. I personally have never cared for movies that make it a romantic relationship between Dracula and Mina.

I had to look up who Christoph Waltz is, and apparently he's an actor which must be who you are referring to. Is he about to star in a Dracula movie or something? Also, something tells me his first name is actually Christopher... but he dropped the "er" from the end in order to stand out...but in a way that comes off as your typical Hollywood pretentiousness.

@@jonbourgoin182 I said he was going to be in an upcoming Dracula film. He was in several of the last James Bond films. He’s also been in several Quentin Tarantino films. He’s pretentious in the sense that he often stars in prestige film projects, but apparently doesn’t know how to read.
