Heads up Tania Walker did the first edition art. The art in this game was done by Michael Dashow.

Could someone get away with giving fake information in this game ? The simplicity of ONU series prevents that 99% but this game seems to have more stages instead of just a day phase.

I'm all for diversity in games.... but Van Helsing as a black woman really made me do a double take.

Ok glad im not alone. Diversity with new characters is ok. I encourage it. I think I don't care for gender swapping characters that already exist either.

If you're going to have diversity only on filler forgettable roles then why have it. I do not exactly disagree, but it's not that big a deal. The art still looks pretty nice.

Not filler forgettable roles. The characters in a game (who 99% of the time are just made up characters).

But the roles for historical characters/monsters are baked in. You are not going to get that history again with a new character as the era for their creation is gone. So calling for it to stay faithful is to say you want them to remain almost all male and white in perpetuity. And that seems especially silly for something like this. I was actually happy there were so many women as monsters since that basically never happens.

Well Van Helsing is just the family name after all and Dracula is, of course, immortal. So why couldn't we eventually have a young black female Van Helsing?

"All social deduction games are fillers." Blood On The Clocktower: "Is that so?"
