Escaping to the Mid-Zone of Pacific Drive

Got a few tips that might help you out: 1) Taking the anchors increases the difficulty of the zone by increasing the number of anomalies. Not sure if you were aware of this so good idea to wait until you're ready to leave the zone before gathering. Also, open the passenger door before grabbing the anchor. One less thing to do when you're carrying the radioactive device. 2) Get the outfitters upgrade in the shop. Lets you make things for your character, #1 being a bigger backpack. 3) Throw lit flares or shoot the flare gun at the Tourists (glowy explosive manikins). Helps clear paths but more importantly they drop theromosap crystals (needed for a number of upgrades). 4) There are several side-rack mounted devices to help charge your batteries, though one of them you need to scan the wriggling wreck to get.

using a hydro generator and wind turbine should basically solve your power problem, the turbine generates power based on how fast you move, and the hydro generator generates constant power during the rain, combine the 2 and you get constant energy regen

Cappy in Sierram has lead shielding on the ramp leading to it, I noticed that most people don't stop to search the ramp, so they miss all the lead shielding and etc. Also you only need 1 Limpulse Emitter to shield the car.

I've loved playing this game. Just had my first failed run and I was annihilated at the end. It sucks that you lose everything in your car (resource wise) and even my engine was gone. But it was my fault. Just unlocked the mid-zone and it was at night in the swamp. The storm hit immediately when I did the teleport. Overall though, super fun game for me.

there are a bunch of difficulty settings to check out. one of them that i am currently playing with gives you free repairs and fuel after a success making the whole game a bit more forgiving if you manage to stock up and properly warp back. there are more that give even more bonuses and some that will make it straight peaceful mode if someone wanted to just get the story

To people wondering if this is how hard pacific drive actually is.... no. no its not. XD The difficulty in pacific drive scales with how much you rush things. if you plan ahead, read the logs and check out the junction info you can prepare for many of the situations Drae is smashing through with his mostly stock car :P If you get all your gear racks and fill them with whatever gear you can unlock and plate your car in appropriate panelling you will have a better time :P plus abuse perpetual stable zones by scavving EVERYTHING, they only destabilize once you pull the cores and attempt to port out. For other zones focus on high value loot like arda trucks, portable labs and supply trucks. then just cruise through them to your exit point or get your cores and go. I frequently abuse the stable mission zones which don't destabilize until you do objectives. they are a great place to get tons of loot.

Just a suggestion drae, after you unlock blowtorch, instead repairing car spare part like doors, panels etc... Just make a few blowtorchs so it still makes a few spaces for other items

Hey drea I got something for you to help with the acceleration problem. If you look at the tire crafting section on the bottom left corner you can see three things that says road off road and water with each tire as a rating for each thing. And depending the tire depends it's acceleration rating so check your tire rating for what road.

Okay, so those wierd things happening to your car, like close your driver door, hood pops open, these are intentional. To fix these, there is a computer next to the charging station in your garage. And you have to do some jiggling around with choosing the correct 'this action does this action' and it would cost you some parts to fix the issue. When you have a chance, mess with everything in your car that you have been experiencing and use that computer to fix it. Otherwise some of it will get in the way. Some can even turn your car off or open doors, throw your car into park even.
