How the hell do you know? 😂🤦🏻♂️
@rmh9412 жыл бұрын
@@userjim83 Idk what goes on behind closed doors a whole lot, but I feel like many of the things that happened in this movie were unrealistic. I don't think many GMs talk to each other like the way Costner talked to the Seattle GM, I think most GMs will try to fool each other by acting friendly to each other. But I do think that conversation Costner had with the Jacksonville GM on draft night was realistic, especially when two GMs are desperate like that. But the whole senario of those trades was totally outrageous. Sure trading 3 first round picks can happen but there would be more planning behind it. A move of that magnitude wouldn't be that spontaneous and probably would not happen on draft day. And then trading 3 second rounders and getting his first rounders back all in the same day is just completely outrageous. And I don't think a GM would ever give back 3 first round picks after getting them in a trade, even if he believed a generational QB was there, because it could easily blow up in the GM's face and that would easily cost him his job. I think any GM in the situation that the Seattle GM found himself in would sit tight with those 3 first round picks, even if he really loved that QB. Its very hard to screw up the first round, and with that many first rounders, Seattle is bound to walk away with probably a couple good players at least and probably a QB. And what I really don't understand either is if he wanted Bo with that pick and was willing to give the first 3 rounders back, then why didn't he just sit tight with the number one overall pick, so he wouldn't look like a jackass and wimp at the end. But overall, entertaining movie and I thought many of the those things do happen on draft day, it was just filled with gross exaggerations and an outrageous plot.

But make no mistake, this is SERIOUS BUSINESS, many different implications as to if they made the right decision, or call at a specific time, as time is also a critical factor, timing is everything. Like you being in WALL Street, as a trader,on the floor, watching the ticker tape,as I watch the News about the market's, gain or loose the final number is all that counts

Teams, desperate teams without quarterbacks need quarterbacks. Look at the New York Jets. The Jets draft Zack Wilson at number 2. The Jets put Wilson in as the starting quarterback when he is not prepared the instant action of an NFL game. So, the New York Jets trade for Aaron Rodgers. And Aaron Rodgers is a hall of dame quarterback. The Jets have a terrific and top-notch defense. Can Aaron Rodgers at 40+ stay healthy? The Jets start printing Super Bowl tickets. Yet, what happens if the offensive line of the New York Jets fail to protect Aaron Rodgers? Let's presume Aaron Rodgers gets hurt, because the Jets failed to realize how important the offensive line is to protect the quarterback. Consequently, the Jets must start Zack Wilson, instead of an all time great quarterback in Aaron Rodgers. I can sense the crucial flaw in the Jets scheme. The New York Jets failed to provide an offensive line as good as its defense. As a result, will Rodgers stay healthy?

Wait so he traded 3 number 1 picks for the number 1 pick then traded for the 6th pick with 3 2nd picks then traded away the 6th pick for all 3 number 1 picks. So basically he got the number 1 pick for 3 2nd round picks. Hmmmm

The tape scene in this movie is so bad. "Woah this QB is a bust because his oline couldn't stop this one elite linebacker we should pass on a potential generational talent cause he took two sacks"
