I'm watching this after completing the UGF Pandas series. For Drew to produce 85 episodes of NCAA Football 14 and completing every single game, yet he only produced seven episodes of Madden 19 and not completing the first season says a lot about Madden.

Love the UGF pandas and this series but I wish you didn’t inflate the stats. Aka Horton being a 78 star in the 7th round and Reddick being 82 ovr in the 6th round. Still gonna watch though

Knogginator yeah I love the Pandas but it’s kind of weird. It was also kind of funny how Drew acted surprised when he saw they were studs as if he wasn’t the one who gave them the ratings

Agreed, makes it feel way less organic and more scripted. Unlike the Pandas who became a powerhouse through hardwork, good scouting and little luck this is all predetermined by making the guys he was attached to in the other series better than, imo, they have any business actually being. I think most would agree that the Pandas genuinely becoming better from Drew's hard work is what made the series fun. Of course the Black Knights will get better if he makes drafts and makes players way better than they should be in lower rounds so he can snipe them before other teams. Then him acting like he's making big decisions when he knows he's set, like saying he's passing on the higher projected QBs because it isn't a need when really he knows Horton is a stud gives off this phony feel. I too will keep watching, but it definitely puts a dent in the series. I hope though, that the next draft he does he cuts back on the UGF players and just actually drafts players sincerely.

I think he gave them mostly the same ratings they had in the NCAA video game. There needs to be a balance between giving them similar ratings in college and not making all of them superstars. Hell, none of them were 99s in college, and those are the only people who end up being 80s as rookies in the NFL

Okie dokie artichokie bro he got a 76 overall QB in the seventh round with star development. Not only that he made it so that it was predicted Horton would be undrafted so that no other teams would pick him. It’s not gonna take a 76 with star development 3-4 years to be good. It will take maybe 2. The series will still be cool but this was just an odd decision.

Just a thought about Will Horton entering the NFL - It may be worth treating Horton much like Hurriicane treats Walker when it comes to upgrades. Hit the Strong Arm until minimum 90 Throw Power and hope for 75+ deep accuracy, but try to remain a scheme fit to maximize XP while training.

I don’t want this to become ugf 2.0, I’m cool with the moving the ugf alum to the nfl but drafting all of them and making them all amazing is a bit much, I’m cool with maybe like Jeff warren being good, but no other ugf alum (obviously except Tom) would be great in the nfl, I also want to get to know some new players, idk it just kind of seems like he forced the ugf players in there, you can have some carry over but this is a bit too much

Matt A I went more on the individual stats than the overall. Also need to keep in mind Horton is a 76 OVR at scrambler only. Is arm is horribly inaccurate which makes him like 60 ovr strong arm. I only gave good development to people who I felt were good players in college. Denman, Stance, Ruff, Calhoun, etc. all got normal dev (the lowest possible). Reddick came out to a higher overall than expected when I put is his individual attributes in. The game really values blocking tight ends I suppose. He has normal dev tho so he won’t progress much over his career
