The way she calls Merrill as, "*[...] one of the... people.*" So much foreshadowing, especially when Marethari remarks about you being lucky meeting Flemeth, how you're blessed by Mythal.... so much foreshadowing.

Hearing all this with full knowledge that Flemeth is Mythal, and seeing the bits of dialogue that seem to imply that Bioware had that planned, or at the very least, wanted her to have some connection to elves, is really cool.

I love how Flemeth is so shrouded in mystery. She dresses, walks, and talks with all the charisma of a villain, but it throws everyone for a loop when they finally remember that she's the good guy. XD

So Flemeth seals a part of herself into an amulet and is resurrected in another place and time. Any Harry Potter can recognize she made a Horcrux of ensured her life would continue after "death"!

Captain Janeway has become a dragon. LOL!! There's something very alluring about Flemeth, almost sexy. I think that it has to do with who does her voice, Kate Mulgrew. She even looks a little like Kate.

My theory is that Flemeth is like Morrigans son: A person with the Old Gods soul in them....that would explain her dragon form.

Its pretty obvious, you killed Flemeth, and Morrigan says she is not sure she can be really killed. In this quest in Dragon age 2, YOU bring Flemeth back to life, hence Morrigans fear was right :) The whole point of Flemeth giving you this task in D2 is to save her, as she somehow knew shed die.

Flemeth is a fav char. I'm not sure she is one of the Old Gods, she could even predate them. Whoever she is, she seemed to have foresight and moved to ensure some events to happen; rescuing the Warden and the Champion. And from her words, she seemed more of a protector of the world and those who are persecuted (seeming sympathetic) than anything else.

Luiz Antonio Yes, really. Ever since Origins, I suspected Flemeth may have been one of the Old Gods, and in Inquisition they confirmed it.

+Nyrufa Mythal is Elven. We haven't really got much on what the Old Gods are beyond speculation.

subbybin Actually the Elves were the Old Gods. In the temple there are codexes which you can translate if you drink from the well. It reveals that the Elven Gods were actually very powerful Mages and had the power to transform into Dragons. There's also a codex which reveals another Mage transforms into a Dragon which only the Gods were permitted to do, and so Mythal punished him for it.

U can't kill Flemeth. Not that easily at least. U can kill her physical form but she will stay alive and come back.

That's impossible because she was originally born a mortal woman. Even though she became an abomination, she cycled through many different bodies, but regardless of the many transitions, her soul was originally mortal and not born possessed as a vessel for another soul.

Honestly, I prefer the idea that Flemeth is an Old God reborn rather than Andraste - that would just really irritate me. :| Personally, I think the Old Gods can assume whichever form they desire - the Archdemon just chose to be a Dragon. I don't know exactly how Flemeth would be like Morrigan's son seeing as there is no records of a Gray Warden living after he/she slayed the Archdemon. Buuuut...who knows. I'm sure the game developers could come up with something. ^_^

Kate Mulgrew is not an old, old woman. Unless you mean the character...which I hope. Cuz first you're commenting on a video of a character who doesn't look like the actress voicing it, and two, I'd hope you know that "old old" in this day and age is like, over 90, especially for women (think of how wonderfully Betty White's kickin' it, and she is just over 90.)
