I love how many times Solas almost accidentally slips up; from this sentence during the official romance scene, how he says he missed being at court and then disagrees if you question him about it after the winter palace quest, and then there’s him literally almost telling you the truth during the break up scene but then he cracks under the pressure and changes it to talk about your Vallaslin. There’s also a few other things he does such as during your first conversation with him in Haven he says “ *this age* has made people cynical”, and how whenever you two are near the elven artifacts to “strengthen” the veil, he’ll sometimes say “I sense another artifact from *my people* “and how Abelas even acknowledged that he’s different when he says “Elvhen such as *you* “

I love the romances I've done for different reasons, but nothing tops Solas for soul wrenching angst. Cullen was fantastic for the romantic side, Iron Bull was naughty, and sexy with a little sweetness in there. I'm glad I didn't romance Solas first, but that said, I'll be riding the Solavellan ship, burning, into the sunset.

Unfortunately, I'm among the group of people who romanced Solas first >_> I say unfortunately because of that terrible angsty scene later on, but I don't regret it at all. I think whoever you romance first you tend to have a stronger attachment to. That's why whenever I play an elf... which is all the time... I always end up with Solas. I literally had to force myself to play another race so I could romance someone else xD I remember the first time I saw the break up scene... I was angry at first, but then I rewatched it and I forgave him before I even knew who he was, because it's so obvious he loves you. It just set off my curiosity to be honest. Then Patrick Weekes did nothing to diminish my love for him when he explained that Solas was about to reveal the truth, but quickly chickened out. Solas and Lavellan are officially my OTP.

I'm sorry, I know I already did a comment but...Solas romance interested me more and more and I love it how he always kiss her. It is like he is holding back all this time and then he kiss her so passionate. And how he confess make me sqee. I have to admit i like more "teasing" romance, but this dramatic romance is sad and beautiful in the same time and it got me. And one more thing...maybe it is just a "fangirl" imagination, but I can imagin how his heart bump to his chest when Lavellan go to him and looking to his eyes... ^///^ I wonder when he fall in love, because the first kiss was also so passionate. I'm enjoying the fact that I can experience the Solas romance through your videos while still romancing Cullen in my playthroughs. As curious as I am about the others, I cannot bring myself to involve my Inquisitor with anyone but him. While Solas offers a very unique and intellectual view on things, Cullen's struggles and everything that he has overcome to lead him to this point often speak more to my heart than the temptation of stimulating conversation (especially knowing that Solas breaks your Inquisitor's heart to pieces in the long run). Plus, I don't need to gain approval to romance Cullen. Keeping Solas happy with my decisions has become very hard. I also feel as though there is more character growth in the long run through a relationship with Cullen, for both parties.

This is something little "elfy Anders soul twin" actually has as a difference with the blond mage: Solas is dragged in the relationship by the Inquisitor; he goes along with it and cares about her, but is always conflicted, he is not sure about it. Now Anders, on the contrary, tries to get into your pants at every given moment and not in a flirty kind of way like Zevran, he wants to bed you and gets quite angry if you reject him, even if you didn't give him a second glance before xD

Risabi Chan he gets angry if you romance fenris because fenris is an avid mage-hater that would gladly slaughter anyone with magic the second he sees them, including anders and even a mage hawke, or bethany when they first meet. anders isn't exactly "angry" with it, i think he's more protective and worried that fenris will do something bad. but both solas and anders though go along with a romance knowing they will ultimately do something catastrophic and break their love's heart. anyway the point is anders was never trying to avidly get into hawke's pants that was the only point i was making because you're wrong he wasn't, he was constantly trying to keep hawke away from him until he couldn't stand the teasing anymore and gave in.

I remember clearly that in one of my playthrough he tried to hit on my Hawke, even if I wasn't trying to romance him and the thing kinda annoyed me since I never flirted... I also got quite a lot of disapproval for turning him down.. I would have liked to link you a video to show you the scene, but I can't find any, just some blog posts talking about it, but no video... Anyway it's not a big deal.. I simply couldn't stand the DA2 version of Anders (while he was my favourite in Awekening) and, after romancing him once I never did it again, I don't like how Bioware developed this character... Of course I get your point, but I don't agree with it... that's why I like Bioware games so much... even though the game is the same for everyone, the opionions about their characters are often very different among the players, just like real life ;-)

My first Romance was Dorian with a male Lavellan. And I absolutly love Dorian. He is my sassy baby and they are my favorite. But after I played Inquisition and Trespasser I wanted to date Solas so bad, because I think it made all much more interesting so I made a femal Lavellan. I was on very good terms with Solas and my male elf and I love him but the romance with the female. Oh Maker, I squeel like a school girl. I also wanted to date Cullen as a human but it becomes really exhausting to beginn everything everytime xD

Okay, I know this is weird but, Solas' Elvhen is grammatically incorrect. Ma in several real world languages means My so I understand how the mistake was made. Ma in Elvhen means You. Vhenan in Elvhen is my heart (more exactly "my centre" or "centre of the elf"). So he's suppose to be saying "I love you, my heart." But ends up saying "I love, you my heart." I should not be that invested in fictional grammer but I have always been a devout champion of a well used comma in any language so...I guess I'll post this weird comment.
