Also she's more than likely nearly forty at this point. It's been over a decade since the Blight and she was (if I remember correctly born around the time of Fereldan Independence or at the very least was in her mid-tlate twenties during the Blight). She's been doing this for longer than most people hold a job today. Homegirl needs rest, but now that she knows about Solas I don't think she's going to get it. Honestly, I'm worried they'll kill her in the next game. EDIT: Not that I think 40s old, but more to point out how long she's been doing it.

dragonquest8ftw1 HoF and hawke both laid down their swords, in a way. New evil may rise but new heroes will too. Leliana of all people has the right to feel tired. Constantly putting yourself at war is no way to live. And despite all that she will still help the inquisitor stop solas.

It's hard to believe Trespasser is 2 years later and 12 years later including the Fifth Blight 10 years before, Leliana is still the most beautiful and hottest girl in all of Thedas in the series, hard to believe she's supposedly 37, 39 or so years old at this point in the timelines of the whole thing right? 18-26, D.A:O, 36-37, D,A:I, 38-39, Trespasser and still looking good eh? Talk about a case of giving Growing Old Gracefully a whole new meaning I suppose, nonetheless, she'll always be the same lovable and sweet Bard from Orlais in Lothering to us all no matter what I guess.

+Gabriel Edward John D'Argo Sun-Smith I dunno, I kind of see her as early-to-mid thirties at latest in Inquisition. I saw both her and Morrigan as late teens, early-twenties in Origins, with Leliana going through all the stuff in her past at quite a young age and Morrigan, well, being Morrigan but also an angsty young adult out of the house on her own for the first time. Also, the fifth blight happened in 9:30-31, and Inquisition starts just 10 years later, Trespasser 2 years after that. I've played Origins and Inquisition but haven't gone too much into the novels/extra stuff, but looked around for info on the wikis and net. But if you have other theories on her actual age, I would like to hear them.

+Michael Scott Actually, if you played Leliana's Song DLC in DA:O, in the dungeons of the Arl of Denerim's estate, she meets and saves the City Elf Warden's mother who refers to her son/daughter as a child and that she will teach him/her about good humans like Leliana. So if the City Elf Warden was a child back then, I'd say he/she was 12 (at max.) and Leliana (who was in her latest days as a bard just before Marjolaine's betrayal) was at least in her early 20s. Couple that with the fact that the City Elf Warden was old enough to be eligible for marriage during the beginning of the game, then I'd say he/she was around 20 years old, which makes Leliana in her late 20s during DA:O and in her late 30s in Inquisition which takes place 11 years later, and finally in Trespasser she was probably around 40, give or take a year or two. Morrigan is another story, we don't have enough info on her, but I guess she was in her mid-30s in Inquisition. Though I can't imagine her being younger than Leliana for some reason.

At first, she just wanted to retire. At that time, it seemed like peace was there. But then, of course, when a branch of Qunari went rogue and took their own initiative... and the Dread Wolf... By the end of it, Leliana had to put her retirement plan on hold.

The thing is, there never will be such thing as "peace" in that world. Templar's favorite past time is killing mages. They are trained since childhood to become perfect killing machines, then they are hooked up on Lyrium, which pretty much makes them junkies and sooner or later(depending on how much Lyrium they had to take during their "service") their mind melts down(Lyrium Withdrawal is quite deadly, but even if one survive, it is not "pleasant" life). Mages rebelled because of that. Darkspawn can start to popping out of ground literally any day(Fifth Blight wasn't started by Darkspawn finding Old Gods tomb, but by Architect) Sten, who was "spy" for Quanari, sent to see what is happening in Ferelden, literally told Warden several times, that Quanari will come sooner or later. They are just waiting for the right moment and then they will strike. That is their way. Even if, for the time being, Quanari focus their armies and power on Tevinter, sooner or later they will come back for Orlesians and Ferelden. Solas told you as much. Elves are so desperate, that it is only matter of time before they do something stupid(although by the end of Treespasser we know, that they already have) Dwarves are about to find out, why most of their "gods"(titans) vanished. Because "elven gods" killed them. I sincerely doubt that they will be happy about it. And don't get me start on religous nutjobs in chantry, whose single purpose appears to forcefully converting anyone who even dares to think with their own head. This is also the reason why Quanari will eventualy come back again. Two fundamentaly different "religions"(Chantry and Qun), which are totally incompatible with each other. Lelliana certainly did her piece in keeping world spinning and she deserves rest. But her excuse, "the peace is upon us" is naive at best and absolutely stupid at worst. And since she was/is spymaster, she should now better than that.

"We can still work for the good of Thedas without the Inquisition". Literally my reasoning and line of thinking for disbanding it at the end of the DLC. Sure, the resources would be a good help but the things he has done, the countries he has aided (through wartable operations and whatnot), I would imagine that it wouldn't take much to get help from all over Thedas if needed. But that's neither here nor there. I guess we'll just have to see what DA4 has in store for us.

My i inquisitor begs to differ, i roleplayed him to begin as a humble qunari that just got involved in this mess. But sometime in skyhold between judging prisoners he lets the power get to his head. So by the time of Trespasser i chose all choices of him reluctant to disbanding the inquisition and keep it going to make a change. In the end the inquisition was absorbed as the peacekeeping force of the chantry with Leliana as the Divine, the templars absorbed in the inquisition under Cullen and the Inquisitor remaining as the leader. It was a bittersweet ending, all of thr companions of the inquisitor drifted away into their own lives. My head canon is that the reason my inquisitor wants to keep the inquisition going is to keep his friends together, yes even Solas. Now i know what my DA4 playthrough is going to happen for me if they allow save carry over.

In Origins, the first game, you can Romance her. But in this game, you can't, and its a bit of a struggle to soften her, to have her agree to do morally good choices.

I did the same. It's not Solas' spies that make him so dangerous, its his power and knowledge. Matching those will be hard even with the Inquisition.

Although he didn't give too much away in the main game from what I saw there's plenty of people in the Inquisition and outside that may have picked up one or 2 things about him and the threat he poses from his time serving it during the fight against Corypheus.

+John michael tbh although I understand that at least as part of the Divine's team it can continue as normal. Secondly the Divine knows the Inquisition and wil likely stay out of it's way unless she needs it and allow it to continue to do it's job. After all no matter who is picked it's always a member of the Inquisition whether it's Viv Cassandra or Leliana. Viv was the divine for me in that playthrough. Tbh I can understand why you can't choose to alinate everyone because in that instance Orlais and Ferelden would take you apart by force and not even the Inquisition would be able to handle that With or without the power I suspect so it's probably better that way. So it was probably better for everybody long term that this happened at leas that's how I see it.

+Aeschylus Shepherd The dialogue is the same, I checked, and there's no such thing as approval with Leliana, and this is like the perfect playthrough with perfect choices.
