This was probably the most "what??? why???" reveal of all time. Like the characters, the LL's, are cool and all but I think everyone wanted a syncro gauge Goku Black/Zamasu who fuses as opposed to just a Goku Black. Vegito is awesome but this part 1 really feels like they wanted to force the VB VS Rose agenda with the arts rather then really considering what players wanted since the anni. All in all Vegito isn't a bad option by any means, a fusion will always make them a lot of money no matter what people say but I do really with it was a Goku Black and Zamasu. Plus the random incluson of Cell and Frieza from GT was just a strange choice, if they wanted to include a new character with a sealing mechanic Mafuba Trunks was right there. I'm guessing they're here to imply a GT part 2? But even than it would've made much more sense to just have them as a SP in part 2 rather then here. Edit: Because I forgot about the LL Trunks Zenkai having GRN Hybrids for some unknowable reason. The new Vegito is GRN, the Trunks is also GRN so by the logic of making sense it should've been GRN Future? But at the same time looking at this whole reveal I really don't understand half the choices made for this part 1 of Legends Fest so at least they're consistent on that front.

They definitely diverted our expectations but to be fair Vegito and Goku Black are top tier hype characters so this isn’t entirely bad. Edit: Still seeing so many people mad with the character selection, myself included, I’m not satisfied with it as well. I do believe there was a complete miss with no synchro gauge Fused Zamasu and another Vegito so quickly alongside him not being a synchro gauge character is very disappointing. But purely from an objective standpoint, there is no denying that both of these characters are hype worthy for the game to generate more revenue.

I think these picks are ok but i feel that they were made specially as a counter to majin vegeta and especially UG4 (idk why he still needs a counter). Goku Black being yellow was also disappointing as we have a really good yellow unit that is dominating the meta right now. The trunks zenkai buffs hybrids for some reason which will only give a slight edge to rathan pushing the players to try to get the new vegito or the gogeta as they are in the same banner due to their counter ignoring abilities.

Despite already having 2 LF Super Vegito & 2 LF Gogeta Blue, the 6th anniversary introduced a new mechanic with the synchro gauge that makes fusing possible, a mechanic where most players has been asking for, which makes the 2 units feel more unique and different than their previous counterpart. I may despise copy pasted LF, but i'm pleased with the dual LFs i mentioned due to a new & interesting mechanic. i have no such sympathy for this Legends Fest dual LF. Transforming LFs aren't new & their animation are quite similar to their previous counterparts. Despite me being a God ki, future, and fusion warrior enjoyer.... i don't feel pleased. The character choice should've been better.

for me personally its definitely an L. I get that these are hype characters but we really didnt need a new vegito this early and he also isnt a fusing character, which i thought they will probably hold on to for these big celebrations. Also a ton of people wanted a new (fusing) fused zamasu since we still dont have a regular fused zamasu as an lf or ultra 6,5 years into the game, instead they drop the 3rd premium rosé whos final attack (the rift) is the 3rd time we see it in the game (lf from the old rosé and ult from ultra rosé), the lf looks great dont get me wrong but still. Fused zamasu has some of the coolest looking attacks in the whole of db super if not straight up the best lol and still no lf from him. If they love rosé so much, making zamasu a fusing character still would include rosé lol and they even couldve given ultra rosé a plat and/or green transforming rosé a zenkai. Also even tho z trunks gets his zenkai, they make trunks a f2p instead of a summonable unit and give it to mai and on top of that they give the other summonable sparking the sealing mechanic instead of trunks who shouldve gotten it lmao (even tho tag frieza and cell is cool). I might skip actually and hope for the rare occassion that part 2 is more hype than part 1 (for me at least).

I’m slightly disappointed we didn’t get Fusing Goku Black & Zamasu and I kinda wished they saved Vegito Blue for 7th Anniversary with the Fusing mechanic. Also Cell and Frieza makes no sense at all. While this is pretty cool and hype, I was hoping and anticipating a tag Blue Goku and Vegeta that fuse into Vegito Blue via the synchro gauge and a tag Rose Goku Black and Zamasu that fuse into Merged Zamasu via the synchro gauge like that would've been much cooler and hype.
