In all honesty, I really love Dragon Ball, sparking zeros graphics and animations for some attacks, but I’m not gonna lie. It’s really disappointing to see how censored Dragon Ball is becoming over the years. There are just some attacks that don’t look satisfying when they hit, and also during physical attacks like Goku’s meteor attack, it censors out some of the blows; BT3 is still my personal favorite in execution, but Sparking Zero is Great either way, I’m happy we got it.

@Therake2602 No this is about meteor crash, not dragonfist. Meteor crash is the charge attack followed with special combos. Dragon fist is the special finishing move.

yeah and have much longer animation but most attacks are similar to bt3 but all of them have dying animations now especially ultimates and i hate that they change most of them like Vegito's beam sword doesnt stab them in crotch anymore and Cell's perfect combination doesnt have first person view of him beating you

The sound of the Tenkaichi 3 is the same as the series, and the colors are very faithful. The sound in sparking zero is very uneven, and the colors don't look like the anime. I like Tenkaichi 3 more.

@@samsoow Yes, but even when they make a remaster of Dragon Ball Z they use the current effects. I don't know why. The only anime that sometimes uses the old effects is the One Piece anime for some reason.

Sparking Zero has really nice esthetics but a lot of moves lack the impact they had in BT3. Glad they fixed the medium spirit bomb tho because I always hated how it looked compared to the early and super spirit bomb.

As someone who has played all the Tenkaichi games, and waited those 17 years, i love Sparking Zero. It really lived up to the hype, i do prefer BT3's sound track and the 2d art for the character selection and wish all the characters from the previous game were playable but other than that no complaints

Some attacks have different choreographies, others are flashier, it's really good, only complaint i can come up with is that some if not a good portion of the attacks lack impact, sound effects are weak, no screen shake, no big explosion, no nothing.

I think there's one bit that you have missed in BT3. When you're fighting on Earth, Some ultimate moves like 100x big bang kamehameha, Super 17's Electric Hellsphere (iirc) on dealing full damage, has an animation of the earth burning and the arena is reduced to a barren land.

As much as I agree the impact of damage is better in BT3 one thing I like about sparking zero is that it looks a lot like the manga. The way the explosion's smokes are done and stuff like that.

Sparking downgraded dam near all the rush moves besides dragon fist. Literally non of the moves have the same impact, sound effects or good choreography as BT3. They seem rushed and unfinished. Also a lot of the beam and ki ball ultimates have a longer custscene then it needs to be.

Sparking zero only missing is the the whitening up during any attack even ultimate not to mention the shaking health bar this makes any strongest attack feel less impactful and looks very weak hope they fixed and added that soon in the next update.

Let look at glatic donut attack he throw donut that catch enemy in bt3 it take some sec after catching enemy this give feel of being captured but in sp it goes to next move quickly it dont give that feeling of binding .and punching sound in bt3 is very good . Small moment like this what give ultimate it style not quick big dmg .and i dont even played bt3 to be honest i never got ps2 . But played sp that why im looking at ultimate not gameplay because it easy to judge even without playing
