Dragon Ball Sparking Zero vs Xenoverse 2

It’s crazy how XV2 is 8yrs old; and still running on what is essentially PS3 models. We DESPERATELY need a XV3; if only to get a much needed refresh on the presentation. Oh; and way better netcode.

@@chrissu441 i kinda blame that on them going for very different gameplay styles. XV needed to render up to 6 or more characters pulling off supers and ultimate attacks on the PS3; and the jumps to o each new gen of console didn’t bring a better engine. Kakarot’s engine can do the multiple enemies thing; and AI teammates; but we’ll have to wait and if they’re ever going to put it to work on another game.

I’d say Sparking Zero has the fighting mechanics of Xenoverse 2 and the visual aesthetics of Kakarot combined into one game. Although Sparking Zero outcompetes Xenoverse 2 in terms of game mechanics, it still hasn’t outcompeted Kakarot in terms of story mode retelling. I’m still going to Kakarot to rewatch scenes because they are inherently better and more developed than Sparking Zero. At least Sparking Zero does have the better soundtrack of all three. If Sparking Zero can improve this one area in their dlcs for superhero daima and Broly movies (better yet, the whole game) then it might have the ability to claim top spot.

Lacks Arena Stages, OST’s, and Lacks Cutscene Quality. I hate the slideshows so much But all in all. I Love The Game and I won’t ever say it’s horrible. It’s Peak to me ❤

Oh if u actually play the episode mode based on the characters timeline correctly it’ll make sense u know like playing goku up to the point it’s time to get the piccolo and gohan training or when goku dies in android saga what vegeta was doing during that skip and others so no there’s just a way u need to be playing it
