TFS portrays Cell as 'Fight-sexual', someone who REALLY loves fighting and kinda gets off on it. Goku's the same way, but they both take their, erm, "orientation" in different routes here. Its one of the reasons why Cell and Goku have this weird gay tension, cuz they're both super into fighting and they know damn well the other is too. Course, like with everything, Cell takes his a little more extremely. Villain and all.

The Instant Kamahamaha was IMO Goku’s greatest attack yet. He knew Cell would be perplexed by Goku possibly being willing to destroy the planet, and give Goku enough time to fully power the attack. Then to appear right under Cell and point blank “nail” him with it was so freaking awesome. When I was I kid I didn’t see it coming, and I LOVED it.

God, I'm so tired of people saying Goku is a bad parent. He supported his childern regardless of what they wanted to do. He never forced his lifestyle onto them, when Gohan fights he has the upmost faith in him He loves chichi( but doesn't know how to show it in the traditional way) He is with Gohan for most of his life(raising him with Chichi for the first few years of his life, after getting back from Yardrat he spent years with him training, spent another year alone with Gohan in the Time Chamber, and for most of Gohan's adult life since Goku was brought back, he's been a constant part of his life). He gets killed saving his sons life then is too injured to home, then he arrives on Yardrat and stays in order to hold back the strongest possible opponent. Does a self sacrifice because his son didn't finish the job, then realizes that majority of the causes of conflicts were partially his fault and decide to have a hero's death and not be brought back. Then pretty much spend the majority of his eldest sons adult life with him Using the age old excuse of he is not there to be with his family doesn't fly anymore once you break it down

I'm pretty sure (if I remember right) that Goku intentionally senzu'd Cell because he knew what it would take for Gohan to truly lose it to break the barrier for SS2. He thought at Cell's current level and stamina that Gohan wouldn't be able to get pushed far enough and wouldn't have what it took to actually take Cell down. He also knew Gohan was the only one who had a shot to beat cell. I believe Goku had started making the plan inside the Time Chamber when he saw flashes of Gohan being able to break the SS2 barrier.

Naruto's biggest feat is throwing a Rasen-Shuriken capable of splitting the moon in half. Master Roshi *Blew up* the moon in fking Dragon Ball with a power level of 100. Vegeta in the Saiyan saga was more than capable of blowing up the Earth with his Gallick Gun. Krillin in the Cell Saga could easily be around Captain Ginyu - 1st form Frieza level. Meaning that Krillin could blow up the Earth ten times over if he wants to. There's no way Naruto could ever casually blow up a planet.

@@darkerkyo He did yes. Though my point was that Roshi did it first in OG Dragonball with a Full power Max Kamehameha wave around the Power level of 100. I think Piccolo's max power level with the Special Beam Cannon was around 1200 in the beginning of Z against Raditz. But we saw Piccolo just casually blow up the moon with a basic ki blast. I think it sets the tone of how early DB/DBZ characters can effortlessly blow up moons or planets. Whereas God-tiered Naruto characters need to be at full power Sage Six Paths mode or whatnot to accomplish less than half of those feats.

There are rumor mills about what happened there, but I can't confirm anything, so I won't repete it. Kinda stopped watching them entirely after that. Dont much care for the lets plays (i miss Renegade for Life, two sayajins play, etc) and ive never liked things like The Office (which is what I was told the unabridged show they did was like)

Mr. Popo is apparently meant to be a djinn/genie... I think some are known to have pitch black skin. Whether he's meant to look like a black guy (as in the race) is a bit unclear to me, but given that the odd few times actual black people show up in the show, I don't think Popo is meant to be black racially... Not that the black characters in the Dragon Ball universe don't still look kinda problematic lol [edit: I'm not counting Uub as black, I don't think he's meant to be, though I might be wrong]. To be fair though, in Japan they don't have the same interactions/context with the more racist stereotypes in the west. It's kinda unfair to judge them in terms of the same standards, even if it's still kinda racist... It's more from ignorance than mockery, if I remember correctly... Remember that a lot of early manga artists are inspired by western comics/cartoons after the 40s, I think, but without the social context for much of it... For example there's a singing group in Japan that wear blackface in homage to the black people that pioneered the music they do... It was soul music I think, if I remember correctly... They don't understand the impact of "blackface"... Or at least didn't, I haven't checked recently.... They're still a fairly isolated culture in comparison to more western countries (not that there aren't still some pretty backwards places in Europe or the Americas), although they do get more foreigners living there now.

Goku threw Cell a senzu because having Gohan beat up an already exhausted Cell would have meant nothing to him. At that point, he might as well have taken the bean himself and not involve Gohan at all. This is Goku acting entirely in-character. He's not being stupid - he's being naive. He wanted to force Gohan to unleash his hidden potential, believing that the pressure of staring down Cell would do the trick. Goku is a warrior through and through, and because of his naive nature, it simply didn't occur to him that the same is not true for Gohan.

You guys really should have watched the show with the subtitles on. You missed quite a few jokes in the series. Especially in this one. After the end scene, the reason why it continued on so long was because of the subtitles continuing on. They started at the end with: "If you were looking for the funny version, you should have clicked 'English - Canada' instead of watching the whole video like I did." Yes, that's what they started saying in the subtitles at the end. rofl There was no video going, but the subtitles continued on. 🤣🤣🤣 If you set it to English (Canada) the subtitles start with: "(Disclaimer read by Larry the Lousy Martial Artist) (Who is still better than Mr. Satan) [Stronger than Mr. Satan anyways]" and then, "Welcome to the Canadian subtitles, these have added awesomeness added to them for your convenience." Then it says in one subtitle post, "[Please try to keep the added subtitles clean.] [Seperate each subtitle so it's not all bunched up. Also try not to add too many subtitles to one line. I'm sure no one wants to pause the video every 10 seconds in order to read everything.]" And here's some of that "added awesomeness" that they talk about being in the English (Canada) subtitles: "SUPER KAMI DENDE: (Annoyed) I CAN'T SEE ****!! (cause your eyes are closed you dumbass)" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And so-on. That's a LOT of missed jokes, sadly.

Something that always bothered me about the Cell Games is how full of it Goku was when he said he wasn't strong enough to beat Cell after their match. HE BLEW CELL IN HALF! If Cell were flying about four feet above the ground instead of standing flat on it, Goku could've aimed his Warp Kamehameha better so that it would've encompassed his entire body and it would've killed him. Probably. Or at least, Goku didn't know that Cell could regen from a single cell at this point, and I don't think Cell knew it either.

I don't remember from the original series if this was the reason, but Cell's regeneration was based on Piccolo's right? and Piccolo can regenerate everything but his head right? So didn't they think that blowing Cell's head off was death? Like up until that point all the injuries he suffered didn't involve losing his head. I just don’t understand how someone can look at DBZ, then look at Krillin, then look at Naruto and think “Yea Naruto and Kiba would clap Krillin and Yamcha” like they haven’t been fighting characters that literally blow up planets casually with no effort. Naruto characters get stabbed too much they might die, Z-Fighters get hit by people that lift tons. There is no comparison in power here

Tien would give him a hard counter to KMHM (and perhaps more), a superior ki attack (with piercing and burning **only using one digit**) in Dodonpa, a real trump card with Tri-Beam, a seal option in ECW, extra arms, extra bodies (wouldn't just be filler), Solar Flare (without Gokek's impure plasma), etc. The only nice thing about absorbing Goku later (so he should have done that to Tien when he had the chance) is getting IT (then not using it when he needed to for avoiding a dumb death). >forgot about this This? Goku at power level 8,000 could fly 30x the speed of sound. Krillin is a lot faster than Naruto, can stun him with solar flare and cut him in half with Kienzan/destructo disc before Naruto can react. If that doesn't work he could fly out of Naruto's attack range and bombard him with Kamehamehas.
