Shida conveys speed so goddamn well. When something is moving fast, you fkn feel it. The framerate of his shots, plus how he has things move in an out of frame so quickly when needed. He's such a god.

The animation timing refers to the actual pacing of movements. In Shida's case, it's fast-paced.

I hate that im just discovering your channel. I am desperately trying to get my novel animated and after watching all of your videos i can confidently say that Shida is my number 1 as far as consistency goes. His art may not be the best but his animation, scale consistency and fluidity trumps his peers.

DBanimators creo que Kitano si se los corrigió, y para mal. En One Piece tenía un problema con el luffy de perfil. Y creo que hasta ahora lo sigue teniendo. Ese es lo único malo que le puedo criticar a Shida. Igual yo tengo mi animador y director favorito. Ryo Onishi y Koudai Watanabe.

N.Shida siempre seras uno de los mejores animadores de dragon ball,dbz,dbs de toei animation y no necesita que le corrigan sus dibujos y animacion ya q son perfectas,magnificas y excelente. HEY DBANIMATORS I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING WHILE WATCHING DBZ MOVIE 4! Shida actually did the scene with Lord Slug (in his giant Great Namekian form as he attacks tries to attack Goku through all those buildings/rubble. I think the scene you posted for DBZ Movie 4 was actually Shimanuki's work, not Shida. Even if what you posted actually was Shida, I am 100 percent sure that Shida also did the scene with the giant Lord Slug attacking/searching for Goku through all those buildings and rubble.

1) It's NOT Shimanuki. His timing is completely different, there are no shaking limbs and the art looks totally different, even if corrected. The debris isn't something EXCLUSIVELY. 2) The scene you credited to Shida may be true, since I spotted his open palms while Goku dodged Slug's attack. 3) The scene I put may not be Shida, but isn't Shimanuki, either. If I ever made this mistake, I'd shut down my channel immediately. I don't like being considered stupid. That's why I stopped making AMVs, because I was always "scolded". No matter how many hours I spend, there'll be still problems. Anyway, I'll remake this in an undefined future. 4) Maybe I didn't pay enough attention because I find this movie quite dull.

En esa época Shida era mas activo por que no tenía tan perfeccionado su dibujo como ahora que es mas lento pero son obras de arte y es obvio que va a ser mejor en una pelicula

@@ivanterra8328 Shida, hasta la saga de cell, era solo dibujante de fotogramas clave. De ahi que era mas activo. El problema era que el que lo supervisaba en el 99% de los capitulos donde el hacia las keyframes era Uchiyama. Bajo mejores supervisores (Nakatsuru, Maeda o Satou) ahi podia mostrar mejores cuadros.
