A telomere is a region of repetitive DNA sequences at the end of a chromosome. Telomeres protect the ends of chromosomes from becoming frayed or tangled. Each time a cell divides, the telomeres become slightly shorter. Eventually, they become so short that the cell can no longer divide successfully, and the cell dies. How that actually fits in this song 🤷‍♀️. Great reaction. I guess it can be about death and new beginnings

I have a theoryLeslie: Telomeres cap the end of our dna molecules, we know Vessel is dying to melt through to the heart her molecules, so perhaps the name of the song isn’t actually for the song but to further attest to his desire to break through to her and the lyrics tell us why. He talks a lot about chemistry not just in alkaline but in aqua regia as well. Idk 🤷‍♀️ just a thought
