Can’t wait to see them, but i’m glad king metal slime is a good monster to have due to its nature in the series as a very rare monster

There are rainbow medals that increase scout odds, and various buddy bullets of varying effectiveness. Apart from that you'll need to try and "impress" it for best chances.

i found a good end game monster called a red giant

I gather they drop a very good medal. I saw and scouted a Red Giant on the 1st floor of the 4th Snarl section so I might rerun it to see if I can get that to drop. I also know that you can scout LV 99 Red Giants in the postgame dungeon.
