Blocking bake is located in Mount numburb. There a huge tree that contains a chest that can only be open with a key. Turn around and walk straight towards killing machine behind an ice there one wooden chest you can't miss it contains 3 blocks for the metal slime😉

I was already working on that. Metal King Slime was a part of it and needed special attention. And nope, no differences in terms of stats/abilities/traits.

I have the required items for hunter mech but it still says I don't have Crude Oil drink when I do but when I try to recruit it still says 0 Crude Oil.

it's probably an enhanced Crude Oil that you need to recruit hunter mech

Either can be rainbow, I got a rainbow one here as well. I'm trying there as I'm after a viking hat version and it's hard to reroll this one which is on a narrow ledge for the reroll trick so my monsters get in my view from time to time. The one you mentioned is more generous for space, sort of. Both have the problem that they're a rarer spawn and are usually a different monster.

Rainbow ones generally have 4 abilities so ideally you want those. Kinda. It's complicated.

Are you farming for EXP or just catching one? For catching one use my reroll video added today (save first). For EXP, forget it, you won't get more than about 4 per trip. They DON'T respawn once defeated until you return to base.

The reroll method in said video will fix that. I was doing it all evening last night trying to get one with a Viking hat. Do it on the Silhouettes along the narrow path (nearest ones each way from the ramp, but NOT the one on its own). Also set the camp to evening so the Metal King Slime doesn't run. If you have issues with that method, alternatively you can save your game as you arrive (before fighting anything) and if it's not there just close the game and reload until it is. That's a much slower way but simpler.

They respawn if you just save and reload.
