The game is a hidden gem in my opinion. The story unfortunately was lackluster compared to what it could have been (funding was scrapped partway through and a lot of story had to be scrapped because of it) however the mechanics and gameplay we're already formed and are so unique and honestly this game has some of the best gameplay mechanics I've ever seen still to this day.

Long Horn Jack ! My mic was very sensitive I upgrade my mic for future videos due to this. However listening from my phone and from computer I seem to have no issue picking it up. Others have mentioned the volume though so I apologise for it. This is one of the first videos I did.

Hey, this video was very well made. Extremely clear and informative, especially considering it was your first video. Congratulations. I should have been more clear with my comment. The only issue was that your voice audio was lower in comparison to the inn vocation guy's. So, when i turned my volume up to 100 to hear you better, I was startled by his voice line lol. Thanks again for uploading this video. You were able to clarify many questions i had about the vocation system in DD:DA.

Ahh yes I did realize my audio was not any higher than the game I believe I fixed this in the other videos but I did notice this on my playback.

Hey, I know I'm a year late, but I wanna let you know you have the best guides for Dogma honestly I love how thoroughly you explain things, hopefully for Dragons Dogma 2 we can expect more guides from you.

Thanks and yea I really enjoyed doing the videos this is one of the few games I consider myself very well versed on and if another dragons dogma comes out I am pretty sure I will get just as into it. If I do I will probably make videos on it as well.

Good video. I learned some stuff. Min/maxing isn’t necessary. But can be fun to plan and execute. One video I saw , the guy returned just before leveling to swap vocation back to the one he wanted (strider) and not level in something else while he earned their augments.
@Dart-gv7dy4 жыл бұрын
Yep that is actually a tactic I use quite often when vocation farming it's great when you want augments from classes that don't benefit your build at all.

I hope if they make a sequel, they fix this system or at least make it more intuitive and streamlined. Its silly that in order to have an optimal magic archer for example I have to spend over 100 levels playing other classes I have no interest in. I get it that its not required, but the best magic archer should be from playing magic archer. Not from leveling to level 200 as other classes to buff the stats the magic archer uses. I can see leveling the vocations to get skills/augments to potentially add a little boost. I'm fine with that, but the stat thing is annoying.
@off-meta-michael4 жыл бұрын
I honestly never pay attention to it and it hasn't affected any playthrough. But yea the stats should probably just be allocated at level up and then you assign the points so that you have more control and flexibility

Nice video man but i still have a question. I thought it would be smart to start out as a fighter for the first 10 levels and then switch to strider or assasin (but i’m affraid that assasin will be too hard bcs of low defense) is it beneficial to switch to strider now? And should i buy some fighter skills before i make the switch?

I just got to Gran Soren and switched to sorcerer. Where do I get more skills for my sorcerer? I only have my basic attack and then frazil, Levin and grand ingle besides the boons.

very very late to the game. got burnt-out with elderscrolls online and mhw. you said in the vid that striders are balance across the board stat-wise. but what would be the best advance vocation to branch out that uses bow and daggers without being a glass canon like the assassin? or i can be just a strider after i get those augments. if so, what path should i take to minmax a strider class the is good in both bow and daggers. TIA.
@Dart-gv7dy4 жыл бұрын
Well honestly min maxing isn't necessary but if you wanna see stats there are websites to calculate it just search dragons dogma stat calculator online. Strider is most balanced but if you want a bit more damage without sacrificing everything to it then ranger is probably better. They get a bit more attack and the highest stamina growth.

I am new to this game and just want to ask a question. I was a mage and switched to sorcerer but lost my staff ? Where do I get archstaff from ? I went to trader he had no archstaff so I was left with no weapon. Also how do I fast travel.

I am also new... But u can fast travel to gran soren and some other places using ferrystone... U can buy it from that black market or black cat something like that in gran soren. I dont know about the other... I havent changed... I am still mage and I wish to change it...

So can a warrior or fighter learn forward roll? I want to be a fighter but would like to have that mobility as well.
@Beanpolr4 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure but usually you wouldn't really want to use a roll, they're much better when used with a shield. The only time you would really want forward roll is on strider or a class that can't block

so I'm considering a MA but- it seems i need to play the majority of the game as sorc to be an efficient MA - so what can i do in game when i hit level 200 as Sorc and eventually change to MA - isn;t the game just about done just when MA becomes efficient to play? I think i might be better play 1-10 fighter, 11-100 sorc then 101-200 as MA so at least I can play the game with the class I want to play - or will MA with tenfold play OK without using Sorc to ramp up Magic power? IDK - i want to experience the game as MA but no point if ts underpowered without sorc levels and boom no point in rolling MA if the game is done by the time its optimised as a class...
@Dart-gv7dy5 жыл бұрын
There isn't a real reason to level to 200 as sorcerer unless you really wanna min max. I did like 35 in strider and the rest in sorcerer and mage until 100 then went straight to magical archer. I was still more than powerful enough to destroy anything. Min maxing isn't necessary since the bigger stat boosters are from augments and gear. Also keep in mind level 101-200 is pretty low scaling anyways. My advice if you wanna play magick archer swap over whenever you want. I only recommend sorcerer and mage until you get the magick boosting augments. Then after that just play them for however long you want if you wanna have high magick. As long as you aren't playing assassin warrior or fighter you won't find yourself that far behind
@Quint19755 жыл бұрын
@@Dart-gv7dy Ah I see, ok thanks, from what i've read I've misunderstood, I don;t want to min max per se, I absolutely do want to enjoy OP Dps but if i can enjoy the game as ranged magic archer without sorcing it hugely then that's the way to go then. I'll do some homework on the best augments for MA then strategise from there. I just bought the game on steam in the sale and really looking forward to it. thanks for the reply.
@Dart-gv7dy5 жыл бұрын
There are a few essential augments if you wanna go magick bow damage. Attunement is a 10% boost from high mage vocation, acuity is a 20% boost from max sorcerer vocation rank and articulacy is a 10% casting time reduction from max sorcerer vocation as well (all bow skills count as magick casting). Those 3 are the best ones for just magic damage.
