@@Xavier-sl7hn often people find something funnier, more serious or sad if they bond to characters and story. Buu bits are too little and few, with huge gaps in the story when put all together.. and regarding new characters I don't think you can connect that much with them this way (asuming you never watched the original Buu arc). But, you know, I mean.. I don't want to be against it. If we got nothing left from team4star regarding dbz, why not? Still interesting maybe. Just warning then, some things are just gonna be confusing.

I would recommend finishing your watching of the regular series before tackling Buu Bits. Because they’re specific chunks of certain moments it won’t have the narrative thread the abridged series gave you.

Hellsing Ultimate Abridged is hilarious and great too. Also done by Team Four Star. It's different and more violent. Highly recommended. It's only 10 episodes.

My favorite moment was Vegeta and Piccolo description towards Cell Jr's " Vegeta; it's like all my nightmares fused into one, cloned itself, f***ed the clone, and made those things. After Dragon Shortz etc, what some youtubers do is move on to the actual show from here, Dragon Ball Z Kai. Kai is its own abbreviated version of Z, with less filler. The show can continue that way and you can also see just how closely the Abridged characters are to the original (TFS did amazing).

Idk how much you guys are going into different types of reacts... like just abridged/KZbin stuff like Hellsing Abridged or anime/shows/movies in general. For a few quick/good one's I think you both would like would be Fooly Cooly (just first season; 6 episodes) and Chainsaw Man. MOB Psycho 100 would be a bit more of a commitment but the show is complete and completely worth it. All great (imo better) dubs. MOB is just insanely beautiful in its artwork. FLCL was when anime was first taking off with Toonami and was basically that time's version of a fan dub trying to both stay with a true-to-source material but also change up some topics or jokes for them to land with the Western audience. Idk, just some random recommendations based on a small read of the room.

Yup do hellsing ultimate abridged! Heads up it starts rough but each episode jumps in quality dramatically because it was only one a year across about 10 years.

When you do Hellsing make sure to mute the intro music, other channels have been hit with copyright because of the song.
