They also reproduce like frieza race does. 1 parent births the child via spitting an egg. Although frieza's race stores its neutrients in it's tail rather than the rest of the body like geckos. That's why frieza's tail still moves when it's chopped off. Also why eating it gives you a power boost. Like in the online dragonball game.

A few fun facts: During the live screening of this movie, at the 'flawless victory' scene, someone yelled "It wasn't flawless!" and you heard TFS Vegeta (who was of course present for the first live screening) yell back _"It was flawless enough!"_ In that 'come with me if you want to live' bit with Piccolo, his eye, in the original scene, was way off to one side, so they fixed his lazy eye for that scene. TFS has said they hate this movie, and not just for the animation awkwardness at times - given that Dende is the Guardian, it should mean that Kami fused with Piccolo, but Gohan isn't Teen Gohan, so it's before they trained in the Time Chamber, meaning Piccolo SHOULD be stronger than Goku or Vegeta at this point in time, but he gets his ass kicked by Mecha-Coolers when trying to 'go save Gohan'. (For the animation awkwardness, look at Goku during the 'and you're not even that good at it' bit when Vegeta appears - the original animation of forgetting Goku's undershirt is still there, causing the color flicker effect, and look at Goku's face when Cooler kicks him away before their mid-fight conversation while he's Kaioken, his face....changes a bit xD) For this movie, in the original, there actually wasn't a scene where Goku went Super Saiyan, he literally did it off-frame, so TFS actually had to custom-create a transformation scene for Goku using some swift editing and some creative touches with the glow effect.

Fun fact: the Namekian that rushed the robots saying "Time to fuck some face!" is the guy that said pretty much the same thing to Frieza back when he was counting how many times he heard certain lines. At least, that's in the narrative of the Abridged series, no clue if it's actually meant to be the same guy in the original.

Yes Dendi stated in the original series that Namekians don't eat. All they need to live is water. Also Namekians aren't male or female they are kind of their own gender/sex if that makes sense.

So this whole opening is a series of call backs to the Abridged series treatment of Namekians. When Frieza meets Guru: "Good lord, I was led to believe your species survived entirely on water! How is he so fat!?" "Oh. Hello. I'm Super Kami Guru. And I'm the guy who's NOT judging you on your appearance." When Guru is drying and confesses his sins on Earth: "But before I leave I must confess my sins." "Wha-what do you mean?" "Do you remember the great drought that befell our planet?" "The one that nearly wiped out our race?" "Yeah..." "The one caused by those filthy albinos?" "Yeah..." "The ones we purged per your instruction?" "Yeah... see, I might have shifted the blame on that one." "You what?!" "Remember when I said they were the ones responsible for the disappearance of our precious water?" "We slaughtered thousands!" "It was me" "How?" "I drank it" "What?" "How do you think I got so fat?!" And an even further callback to season 1 where Piccolo being a member of an asexual race was used for comedic effect by Nappa: "Oh look Vegeta! It's a Namekian." "Hey I take offense to that!" "He's referring to me you idiot. And it's not an insult, the Namekians are a fine proud race of-" "That means he doesn't have a penis, right Vegeta?" [laughter] "Eunuchs." "So what exactly does that make you Mr. Piccolo? You survive mostly on water. Does that make you a slug or a plant? "Gohan, not now." "And do you also conduct photosynthesis, or do you-" "NERD!" And referenced again later by Gohan: "Go...gohan... come closer... there's something... I have to tell you." "Is it that you always pictured me as a son? Because you could never make your own considering you lack the reproductive organs to produce your own legitimate offspring-" "nerd..." And they also mentioned the mostly water diet back then too! So now read the opening once more with all that context in your head: "So dad, what's the first thing you want to do when you get to Namek? Maybe go fishing? Camping? Anything that doesn't involve training?" "I'm going to be first in line to try some old fashion Namekian cooking." "I... don't see that happening." "Not with that attitude." "I'm just looking forward to a relaxing vacation. This will be the first time I've been on Namek where I haven't been beaten up, or stabbed, or exploded." "I'm looking to get with some sexy Namekian ladies." "I... don't see that happening." "Not with that attitude!" "I'm just looking forward to getting some time away from Korin." "Are you two fighting? Because I've noticed a distinct lack of cat hair on you." [chewing] "Hey Piccolo, what's your favorite Namekian dish?" "Dad, I hate to break it to you but Namekians don't eat." "That's weird. They're weird." "So haven't been home in a while, eh Kami?" "About 500 years give or take." "Eh, you're not missing much." "Oh please, unlike you I remember the halcyon days of our planet. Beautiful blue landscapes, our thriving culture, our beautiful kinship with our Albino brothers." "Ooooh..." So many references packed into such tight dialogue, TFS are masters of their craft.

piccolo jr. was born to kill goku so it makes sense why he and cell who was made for the same purpose do end up killing goku...literally by killing goku even if it was only temporary piccolo fufilled his dads wishes and then could finally choose his own path...its genius writing..his whole life led to kiling goku...that beam was always meant to kill goku in battle one way or another and because of that noble sacrifice piccolo saw the good in goku and chose to raise his son and give his rivals kid a purpose and mold his rivals son as a warrior ...its why piccolo became good and why goku had to die and get special other world training...he was the worlds strongest and he had to transcend worlds to get better...thanks to piccolo..without dying he never meets kais and thus never gets better

Don't know if they showed it, but Perfect cell took Kirillins Destructo Disk to the Neck unharmed. They defend themselves with kinds of energy shields they create around their body, which is how they survive planet destroying level attacks with little to no damage, or punch/deflect weak energy blasts which they do all the time.

Namekians do not eat, they feed on water. Also in the manga Guru gave birth to all the Namekians that lived on Namek after the drought, meaning that Nail and Dende were brothers. The opening title animation is based off of the Transformers title animation, because he's Metal Cooler 'He's a bit big for a boy' - Piccolo is 14 years old in the timeline of this movie 'And Tien wasn't' one of many things wrong with the Dragon Ball franchise. Especially given that Yamcha was stronger than Roshi in the Raditz Saga when Bulma scanned his power level, and Tien was stronger than all of them but Piccolo, Goku and Gohan (and of course Vegeta and Nappa who hadn't appeared yet) Random Vegeta is also Movie Debut Vegeta And technically Hit, and Zamasu in the alt universe The robot voice is from Borderlands, including the meatbags comment
