It's like why would you do that?. It makes no sense. It's something kids would do. When me and my friends were in a school trip in highschool, around 15 years ago, we made a short video referncing a line from a Sick Animation cartoon (the mom whispering to her sleeping son "Osama bin Laden" in "Pen Pal". We did it with the kid which was assigned to our room, he was sleeping and had no idea.). Even as stupid as we were, we didn't think to recreate an entire cartoon live, nor would we think to use this video for anything except our own entertainment, as obviously no one else would find it funny.

Sharonne Jones I also prefer aspects of GT over Super. While GT to me, was an overall missed opportunity, it still did somewhat capture the essence of what Dragonball is. The first arc is horrible, Super 17 Saga is bad, but the Baby Saga and Shadow Dragon Saga are good to me. I haven’t found any ounce of enjoyment in Super. If I got to choose what was canon, I’d choose GT

I have to say I played it on the pc version and most of the complaints AJ has are non existent, the character graphics are amazing, loading times with my ssd can take of avg 7 seconds from area to are and black screens never happened to me, it must be a console problem. Anyways pc version is the way to go

I would say the open world aspect of this game is almost horrible, I would rather just go straight to the objectives most of the time. If this is just another random game that isn't dbz..I wouldn't even play and finished it. The side quests are boring...so does the exploration. Joe gave valid reasons for it being a 6/10. The fighting (which will get repititive at one point), the flashy effects, and the name "Dragonball" saves the game from being worse tbh.

@@gaminggoof1542 Xenoverse games have a different appeal, the combat system is a lot better, character customisation is more in-depth and so on. The story though? Uhhh well, I guess that depends on your interpretation. It's original, sure but it's a bit basic. Bad guy does bad guy timey things! Quick, Avengers assemble! The End. Basically. There's nothing to do in free roam, really. Also it's filled with a lot of tedious grinds for gear pieces and zeni, that the temptation to use cheesy exploits or just straight up cheat is incredibly high. Kakarot is the complete flip of that. The story mode presentation and execution is top notch. Free roam is filled with landscapes, secrets to plunder and villages dotted around with side quests and traders and so on. The class coin thing is kind of a love it or hate it kind of deal and honestly you can go through the whole game ignoring it entirely with little to no impact. Kakarots combat system though is incredibly basic and very, very repetitive. The amount of trash enemies the game throws at you are ridiculous and the actual important fights tend to be over rather quickly and anticlimactically. Game's allright. It's a visual marvel, you can spend hours exploring the worlds and so on but the lackluster combat system, bizarre skill tree and lack of depth to the worlds you explore keep it from being better than just "okay".

​@Tiredofdumbfuks Eh, accidentally clicked on cancel for my more detailed comment so bare with me if I have less detail (Nvm, still turned out to be a long comment, don't worry, I don't insult you here once, just a warning since most people in KZbin when they see a long reply they think it's an argument being started/shit throwing contest, just couldn't summarize it) Joe doesn't get paid for reviews, I've seen paid reviews, like when Sseth did a paid review for some shitty MMORPG and made a comedy out of it, or when people say shit like "sponsored by raid shadow legends/whatever game", plus if he really was getting paid, he'd always give neutral or positive ratings so to not upset the people that could give him sponsorships, invites, or any other benefits by sucking up to the games Also, mainstream opinion, I'd disagree with that too, we all tend to follow the mainstream opinion at least for a few things, it'd be silly for me or you to claim our opinions have never aligned with the mainstream Also, I get your problem with the rating he gave Skyrim; It's a bad TES game the same way Fallout 4 is a bad Fallout game, obviously not as a bad of a TES game compared to how bad of a Fallout game F4 is but still not very good (And Skyrim is also a better game overall) They half-assed a power fantasy character, so it's stuck between a blank slate character, and a super-powerful one, thus the roleplaying side suffers because of it, and so does the combat and character, you don't get nearly as customizable and blank slate to make your own character like in Morrowind or Fallout New Vegas, and neither do you get anywhere near as powerful/flashy as you would in a superhero game or a god of war type game that fulfills a power fantasy properly, so it sits in an awkward state; The open world also suffers from many a repeated dungeon, quests, encounters, etc, compared to games with far more variety in quests and encounters like certain CRPGs such as Pathfinder Kingmaker; And like I said, since it's a half-assed power fantasy, half-blank slate, the roleplaying does not compare to good blank slate CRPGs, or a game like Fallout New Vegas, at least it's better than Fallout 4 though, dialogue/roleplaying wise, though that's not a very high bar either Despite all these issues though that you could keep on listing, I think for the average person, especially the type who had never played an RPG before, it was a big, new fresh feeling to explore this huge world and do all these things, especially considering how beautiful and grand it seemed at the time for many, ESPECIALLY when seeing the bleak falls barrow from the distance, looking from Riverwood; When you're already knowledgable about RPGs and Skyrim you understand it's nowhere near as grand as it seems (Once you've seen a dwemer dungeon, you've seen them all, once you've seen one Draugr dungeon you've seen them all, etc, recycled spammed content, along with the auto-generated quests which wouldn't be so bad if they had more variety since they add more gameplay after you've done everything else) But the combination of the cool dragon shit, the shouts, the viking stuff, open world, graphics, first person, able to go anywhere you want instead of being forced to follow the main quest the whole time, the HUGE modding scene one of the biggest in gaming that makes the game worth playing at all for experienced RPG players that see Skyrim vanilla not worth playing, etc, it makes the game for most people, a damn fun experience, especially if they're playing for their first time like I said, and it being baby's first big RPG, even despite its flaws like the awful basic melee combat, the inferior spell system that doesn't even have spellmaking! What a missed opportunity... (Thankfully we got mods to fix that, which is a huge appeal of the game, few modding scenes like in Bethesda games) I hope I was able to properly explain why people like Skyrim, I personally wouldn't touch Skyrim ANYMORE (Obviously did like and play it a lot once) because modded Skyrim feels more like a looter shooter RPG kinda like borderlands 2 just with more roleplaying and not as linear, and I'd rather play a proper RPG or CRPG instead of a slasher/looter shooter/roguelike feeling type game

My experience with the game: having alot of fun, fought some baddies, progressed and grew some levels. Ran around at high speed, accidentally ran through a wall of a cave. Can't get out of the cave. Reload the game to find out it auto-saved in the cave I am stuck in.. Stopped playing because I had to start all over again.
