So basically a more faithful version of DBE. I think Goku and the gang should be teens like they were in the manga. Seeing a teenage goku vs piccolo is visually appealing and only makes piccolo that much more formidable.

Hey that synopsis you guys made was truly amazing! The score, the faithfulness to the source material, those stunning artworks...? MASTERPIECE!! But aside from telling you, as your biggest fan, that it’s so awesome to see you back, i wanted to ask a simple question: have you ever thought about putting this on Kickstarter or IndieGoGo? And if so when would you put your project in those platforms (maybe more than one? That would be a good backup plan) Because as you know, I looooove your project and I want it to be made real. Seeing only 10-15 minutes would be a dream come true. Trust me when I say that anything is possible and hard work, no matter how unconvincing it may be, ALWAYS pays off. I think for the first movie you should merge the first arc and the red ribbon army arc into one kind of how Path to power did it (but including all the important meeting like Bulma, Roshi, Krillin and Yamcha) and end it with a climax battle of Goku raiding the base and turning into a great ape for the first time there. Then for the second movie cover the tournament against Tien and the King Piccolo saga leaving Majunior just a teaser at the end. Them for the third you cover Piccolo Jr vs Goku in the prologue and then the Saiyan saga for the rest of the movie. And for the 4th movie it just focuses on the Frieza saga. Idk if that's more or less how you planned but I think it would be a great way to telling the story without bloating it too much. I found this channel just today and I think Dragon Ball definitely needs a second chance at a live action adaptation attempt. Good luck!

I got sent from Blackscape's video. Okay, if I wasn't excited before. I SURE AS HECK AM NOW!!!! Sign me up for this! I always wanted to see a Dragon Ball reboot to streamline everything. Nailed that backstory, especially Kami bestowing the humans the Dragon Balls as a reward for sealing away his evil half. That was a nice touch. Wow, so Goku is going to be a really active character in this. Searching for answers and doing some self-discovery. So it's basically a big free for all hunt for the Dragon Balls, with Pilaf trying to restore King Piccolo (possibly back stab him), Tao (possibly a free agent, but most likely working on behalf of either the RR or the Crane School), and the good guys. I didn't expect Yamcha. I am SO HAPPY. All I ask is. Please don't assassinate his character for the sake of memes. It will tarnish what you're trying to do here. I wonder if Yamcha vs Tien will happen here. Tien assisting Tao and Yamcha acting as Bulma's bodyguard would put them at odds with one another right from the start. And if Tien breaks Yamcha's leg, well he could then ask Goku to take over protecting Bulma for him. I admit, I am a little concerned about the humor aspect, because Dragon Ball at it's core is a gag series so the comedy is essential to nail. Is there a video that kind of covers the type of humor to expect because this series' tone looks a lot more serious than Toriyama's series? (I doubt you'll go Roger Rabbit here, so if you could relieve my worries I would appreciate it)

That's cool and the higher ups who owns the rights to Dragonball would be amazed and impressed by this Synopsis video which i hope they someday let another Live action Dragonball theatrical movie be made as long as it's done right by the right people who understands the source material very well. Regarding your question, we had the intention to at least produce 10-15 minutes to show the potential of the story and project but the money we need to do it right, though it’s a small amount compared to big productions, is far from our reach. We want to pitch it and show it to big studios capable of producing the whole story

@@DragonBallTheLegacy Oh i see and it's unfortunate when the lack of funds prevents creators from fulfilling their vision but i hope the higher ups do grant film makers like you guys the blessing and a huge budget with confidence to make a good live action Dragonball theatrical movie. If i were rich with trillions of dollars i would grant you guys the funds since i see great potential in the project. One of things i want to see happen before i die is to watch a Live action Dragonball Z theatrical movie (a good one) in theaters even if it's a Cgi Live action Hybrid. I think if the big time content creators in the Dragonball community saw this video and talked about it, and loves it' and makes it go viral' then there's a better chance to have the big studios flock to this video and be interested in funding the project. The big time content creators do have the power to make a huge impact unlike small channels whether they believe it or not.

El problema es que no estamos pudiendo hacer conocido el proyecto. Subir y cumplir con los requerimientos de Kickstarter es un arduo trabajo que pagaría dicho esfuerzo si viésemos que realmente la gente se va a sumar y va a aportar al menos un dólar, pero no está sucediendo porque el proyecto es desconocido. Ni siquiera nos han apoyado en PayPal o Patreon cuando los hemos promocionado vía instagram.

i did not grow up with Dragon ball but came across one day on the cartoon channels toonami. i was recovering from cervical surgery and was looking for anything good to watch before i went crazy. after one episode i was tuning in everyday to see what happened. and was taken into the saiyan saga. and freaked out at how cool it all was. and i kept watching thru it all and thru dragon ball super. i would gladly watch any live action mixed with CGI done right. not like that dragon ball evolution nonsense movie...

Aver aver aver tienen que viralisar el trailer original con algún KZbinr como ibai y el rubius lo importante es que a estos KZbinrs lo siguen (niños) niños que tienen ( padres) padres que alguna vez vieron dragon Ball y algunos lo siguen viendo Ese video del trailer tendría que tener mínimo 2 millón de visitas y quedar en la sección de tendencias Un video del partido de reserva del equipo de fútbol boca juniors estuvo en tendencias con sólo 148.000 visitas en 2 días PD: si no se viralisar dudo mucho que por si solo capte la atención de los medios y por ende de alguna empresa "importante" Creo que ya pasaron 3 años desde que me suscribi

All right I’ve had enough… We should petition to get money together to make this happen. Clearly it can be done. You guys obviously are extremely talented. Just not funded. Since what they seem to be working on is Dragonball Z content. DB is good, but all the really epic stuff started happening in DBZ, and it's what most people think about when you say Dragon Ball.

Some years ago we tried to create a script starting from Z, telling the Goku and Bulma´s childhood by past connections in the movie but it didn't work out. Just the title Dragon Ball talks about the dragon balls and not the saiyans so was very hard to introduce ShenLong and the spheres starting from Z. We´ll explain this in upcoming videos.

I'd say 99% of the people that will be interested in watching your work will already know the lore. And as for the 1%, leaving out some of the lore may not be a bad thing. It may peak their interest and draw them into watching the anime to understand the lore better. But, so far you guys seem to be pretty much on point with everything. I'd say just keep doing what your doing.
