I love this game so much! It has become my main solo RPG. Even better now that we have the Bestiary. 14 sessions played so far.

I just think that the some of the playable kin are a bit imbalanced

Johan Egerkrans. The artist has a series of non RPG art books that I highly recommend. They are chock full of evocative artwork and stories

I have the core set box. Wish the bestiary was also available in paperback to match. Looks lovely.

Nice review. Mine arrived a few weeks ago. I love it. As you've said, the art is absolutely gorgeous. An outstanding addition to anyone's collection.

The artwork is very pretty, in particular I loved the swan maiden with her sling, and the winged medusa (closer to the old descriptions). Book seems easy to use even for other system.

Love the attack tables!

The random encounter, provided actions, and seed are amazing for so many games. I'm picking up the standees with the bestiary to enhance my game, as well as use for other tabletop interests. Free League continues to be an industry leader with innovative content and amazing production value.

It really took inspiration of their book of the beast.

I have been following you for a while, have your book and what a great resource! Would you consider doing a short or long video of you playing Dragonbane with this addition?

Thanks for your support in following the channel and getting my book. These days I do fewer play demos because they were taking way too much time to edit. I do the channel as a hobby and don’t have a Patreon etc so need to balance how many different things I cover with the type of coverage. That said, it is a good suggestion & I will add it to my list!

Really worth PAWsing on the cat people. That was delightful!

When Dragonbane came out, I didn’t really see what the point of yet another fantasy game system was. But the more I hear about it, the more I think it might actually be My Jam

In absolutely the same situation... doing a look around just to figure out what to buy as we speak lol

It took 98 seconds for the crochet hook to come center stage. NINETY EIGHT SECONDS. DO BETTER.

The lack of a random / tiered encounter table with these bestiary definitely hurts the usability of this otherwise good product for me. A big missed opportunity.

That’s a great point which I noticed but never made
