You are one of the few solo roleplayers I can actually watch an entire video of and want more. Your excitement over the story taking shape and the dice rolls you get, awesome or horrible, really elevates what you're doing. I am someone who can only really break of their shell while playing RPGs and seeing someone else geek out over how freakin' much fun they are having is wonderful to watch! Thank you, Trevor!

Hey Trevor, I really appreciate your channel. I binged your first three seasons, and am eagerly awaiting season four. Your ability to craft a story out of random fate charts is inspiring. Long background for those interested: I originally tried to get a D&D group together with my family, but I could never get the schedules lined up. I ended up starting to craft my own party of four to attempt a solo D&D session, but I quickly found difficulty with it and wanted a better way. After doing more research into Solo TTRPG, I found your channel. Ironsworn seemed like a system I could get around, and after watching halfway through season 2, I purchased the Delve rulebook and began my journey. I was already a little attached to the Elf Ranger I made in D&D, so I crafted a quick Isekai-styled background as to why the Ranger was teleported into the Ironlands. I have this idea of his main vow being to learn a few Rituals to try and get back to the original world. A quick draft I was thinking about was needing to use Shadow-Kin's 2nd ability (to attune to the Shadow Realm), Scry (to see the people in his home world), Tether (to bind himself there), and Shadow-Walk (to journey through the shadow realm and get back to his Tethered location). Narratively, I am justifying all these Rituals because to gain the first one (Shadow-Kin), you must first become corrupted and thus along with the detriment comes the upgrade of learning new rituals.

Great session! I appreciate seeing how you do not go easy on yourself when playing. I think my favourite Dragonbane solo moments so far involved little or no combat, just like your scene with the Orcs.

Re-watching this after playing some games with my brother and cousin. I only noticed watching both this and the first part again after becoming familiar with the rules that there were only a couple of niggles. The first is when the cultist leader in the first part moved 10 squares because he had 10 movement. Each square counts as 2x2m, so he’s would have moved 5 squares, the dwarf would have 8, so could effectively “catch up” with one movement as he would be adjacent to the cultist. Doesn’t matter because it all worked out anyway. The second was the death roll where you queried about it being against CON and rolled against WIL. This is to do with character creation, where your CON sets your HP and your WIL the WP of your character. So, it makes sense for CON to be used for a death save because it’s about health and healing. That’s all I noticed and, I’m not being funny, but you have so much knowledge and enthusiasm for TTRPGs that I’m in absolute awe of you and have my eye on the Broken Empires 😉 Keep on playing and keep pushing this amazing content.

Your luck is amazing. My bad luck borders on legendary. I can literally roll 8d6 and not get a single six on multiple rolls, but if I'm being attacked by something with only 3d6 they'll get two sixes almost every time (I'm just starting a Forbidden Lands solo campaign). I need to restart my Dragonbane solo campaign with the same character, because he didn't even get to see the inside of the Breach; he fell to a swarm of bats on the trail down. That was definitely a case of every roll that could possibly go badly for me and well for the bats did.

I just got Dragonbane together with the Moria Kickstarter for The One Ring... and it was a really good idea! I am playing Deepfall Breach right now and it's incredibly fun to see what you crafted out of it and how, starting from the same prompts, I went in completely different roads! Your production is amazing as usual, Dragonbane is really fun... Can't wait for the next video 🙂

Finally the next part 😄 After a long days work, done with dinner, now gonna relax with some coffee, cookies, apple and with Dragonbane greatness! ☕️🍎🍪 Oh I myself did progress the Solo questline yesterday. 2: The Cultist Warren step 2 " unknown " I randomly got 4 x 36 hit points spiders in a desolate library, me and fellow orc Gorum fighting at the moment, 1 spider down 😂

You are soo much fun Trevor! I love these videos and I don't usually get into actual play videos. I think it's because you actually are using the rules, mechanics and explaining things as you go. So many actual play videos feel more like narrative storytelling without mechanics. Which bores me personally. I'd definitely watch more of you playing Dragonbane Solo! 🙂

1:00:32 Is it actually a demon because you are rolling with a boon you take the better roll. To me that means you did not get a demon, the 20 did not count, and you can reroll. It seems like you never have time to search for treasure. Although since he had the calling stone, would he have been able to search the room and then use the stone to escape?
