Oh the topic of Demon Hunters, yeah I think it'll be the hardest tree to get right seeing as how they have very few buttons in general. I think they have an opportunity to make DH a lot better than it is now though. For starters Vengeance and Havoc don't have that many buttons in common. So Havoc could gain things like Sigils or gameplay that incorporates building and eating soul fragments. Vengeance could gain darkness and some tools for dealing more damage. Vengeance currently actually has a lot of talents that are good on paper but don't get played because they're on the same row as something that's practically baseline. Same with Havoc but on top of that they should use this as a chance to fix issues with talents that leads to things like not pressing blade dance in single target.

Power vs fun. I love my DH bc it is insanely fun in outdoor content and M+ is good too. The only way to make it powerful is to run Sinful Brand. That sucks. So its great for it to be fun but it also needs to be good as well. If the talent and rotation sucks for the content you want to do is bad then power isnt enough. The reverse is true as well though. If its fun but is bottom of the dps meter then that makes it just frustrating.

A very minor problem with assassination spec tree, you can get dragon tempered blades while only having 1 non-lethal poison, seems like numbing poison should either be baseline with crippling, or a new non-lethal be added to the tree on the way to dtb, maybe swap the two poisons from the spec tree, or make them a choice node where amplifying poison currently is

Frost DK is too overrated, you only rate it because of the potential breath damage, not the choice, in fact, there is no choice. As the the current MotW goes, 2h oliterate just can't compete with 2s breath in every way, and I FUCKING HATE BREATH. Everytime the breath starts I got called out by the boss and have to go to a corner thus end my dps existence. For a breath enjoyer, A tier perhaps, for obliterate craver? C tier even D, no more.

The huge problem with avenger shield not generating holy power is that on m+ pulls you are choosing between aggro/crowd control and mitigation. The spec will likely just revolve around divine toll in keys and you will have a cookie cutter play style until they change it.

Demon Hunters do have quite a bit they can bring back between Legion Leggos, Azerite, and Soulbinds. Hell, maybe even bring back twilight Dev / Infinite stars in some manner. But, I think that Havok should have 3 paths. 1st path focuses on Chaos damage. Middle Path is focusing on Changing / augmenting Meta and right path is focused on movement. I think that functionally, DH should be a hybrid melee/ranged physical DPS where we have a lot more options for throwing the glaive and doing damage at range. Demons Bite should change our auto's to 20 yard range with 3 target cleave/ couple this in with abilities that give more damage the more you move + Momentum and we could have an extremely unique spec.

It has become a major problem with rogues that the devs have continually shafted sub whenever they get the chance. It also feels like the devs have very little interest with sub compared to outlaw or assassination, which just feels really bad because it used to be the premier and most beloved spec out of all rogues. Sub currently not having raid utility and also the least amount of creativeness to the talent tree is just more evidence piling on. Please, put some love into sub and give me my favorite spec back.

Aspect of the Fox was too strong. it trivialises too many mechanics completly, so it would be either 3-4 MM-hunters mandatory or bosses would be way too easy. I mean it was so busted they had to remove the ability mid-expansion. Something like roar or demongate helps you play a certain mechanic, aotf downright removes mechanics, making bossdesigns really limited. If they were to ever bring back aotf it would have to have a debuff like bloodlust, that prevents you from profiting from aotf for at least 5mins.

@L Icecap has always been around. It's a suboptimal capstone that only really saw play with azerite trait synergy. Some of us actually want this spec to be fun and get new things, i.e. a new runic power spender or more cooldowns to play around with. The number one thing we have asked for is the option to combine icecap with obliteration so we finally have some real single target output compared to other specs. It's mediocre in the current iteration and deserves the same love blood and unholy have received.

I'm a new player and a new Rogue main Outlaw and Ass look really fun I hope they don't panic nerf Ass into not being fun and get the balance of it sorted on the test server. I have no idea why I would use Sub for anything not sure if that's because I don't know enough or it's just the other two are more fun and stronger. If I'm right on sub just being worse for fun and power I'd just like to see Sub have some specific build that's useful. Still happy to see that Rogue looks like it'll be even more fun in the expansion.

Demon Hunter looks really interesting to me as a DH main. Multiple Throw Glaives with bleed (The old Legion bleed glaives build with the added benefit of the SL glaive leggo) + mega blade dances, built in sustain with Immolation Aura, Sigils for Havoc with the option to make a 5 sec +20% dmg increase after Sigil of Misery effect end? We can also opt to go deeper into the Sigil side of the Class Tree and get the situational Sigil of Chains, (the mini Aoe grip). I mean c'mon what's there to complaint about? We can really do some burst assuming numbers are there. Choices to go single target route with Chaos Strike focused Talents. There is nothing to complaint about in terms of choices for Havoc as it stands, it will depend on numbers in my opinion.

As a very long term shadow priest player; we USED to be doomers. Before legion shadow was known to be a bit on the crybaby side but after experiencing the BFA release shadow really got to know what bad design was like. I switched to mage in shadowlands because I prefer m+ to raiding. I'm just waiting for shadow to not feel like ass to play in m+ to switch back.

I think the main issue keeping assassination out of S is that it has three capstone columns: one for single target, one for general class flavor/utility/damage with double poisons, and one with an aoe focus. I believe two of these capstone columns should be selectable, and ideally either single target + double poisons, or aoe + double poisons. I doubt people would want to be a jack of all trades and index into single target and aoe at the same time. But with the double poison column being six nodes, these setups are impossible. I think it is to block double lethal poisons making kingsbane too strong, but you could make kingsbane only scale with deadly poison and then cut a point out of the double poison column so both are selectable. Other than that you're right, tree is straight fire.

Then if you can handle the rotation well and your cooldowns go Titans Grip since ability damage does more there. Less about "hard" and more about hard to screw up.

I really want MW to have an ability like BrM where you spit fire but it’s a restorative HoT so that they can be even more focused on fist weaving play style and then have one side of the tree be 100% caster style with the jade statue.

Would love some sort of cast time reduction via stacks you get from black out kick. Let it stack to 10 but for full efficiency only 5 can be used at a time. Like 0.1 cast time reduction per stack. Making casts fit in more natural between fistweaving.

Thanks for the content and trying to put something out there for those of us that dont look at it all in detail. However, if you gonna make a list of all available specs. Then I wouldn’t mind to wait a day or even a week longer instead of you just saying you cant rate ret pally because you didnt even look at it. Feels half-assed

TL;DW max asks chat for rankings and doesn't understand how bad some specs are because he doesn't play them. it is puzzling as to why they think BM is so high because multishot is row 2 node but is optional.. it is the ONLY spec tree that doesn't have all core abilities and function in row 2, and not barbed shot resets, instead we have a fundamental functionality of the spec and complete inability to roll 3 stacks of frenzy outside of cooldowns because it's mid-lower right side to be able to pick a core passive to how BM works. it's like everyone has completely ignored this.

As an Elemental Main since 15 Years now, I see that the world is flooded with a lot of shamans resulting in the nerfs you're scared of :x
