But I gotta say , after seeing those live performances, I can see why he's one of the best guitarist's and one of the most dedicated guitarists I've ever seen . I don't have MS, so I really don't have any idea what that's like for you, but I do have really bad nerve damage in the left side of my back where the nerves go down to the left side of my hand and fingers. It used to be so bad that I couldn't feel anything in that side of my hand and fingers and I could barely play. Guess what I'm saying is I understand the struggle against something that can take away ones ability to play. I've been praying for a cure for MS ever since I learned Jason had it. I'll put in an extra prayer for you too, for what it's worth. But remember, miracles can and sometimes do happen, we just don't expect them so we call them miracles. Don't count on it, but don't rule it out either. Hope truly is eternal, because no one knows the future with any certainty. I wish you and all my fellow Earthlings peace and prosperity. ^-^

Tears, man. Tears. They're not because I feel "sorry" for Jason; it's because of the fact that he's never stopped fighting, and he's never given up. He deserves praise, not pity. He continues to smile in the face of adversity; his strength, incomparable. He is "perseverance", "determination", and "inspiration" personified. A huge "Thank you!" to you, Herman, and to all of the artists, friends, and fans of Jason who've shown appreciation for him; he truly deserves it.

100 percent. I am a grown man and I have his poster on my wall in my office. Only poster I own. Obviously love his music, but I admire his strength, perseverance, and kindness. Been a tough year with covid for me. Any time I want to give up I look over to that poster and it reminds me of the true strength the human spirit is capable of. And I hit the phones again. Jason is probably the only person I don’t know personally that I look up to.

The first time I listened to Perpetual Burn, I was just a young boy who dreamed of becoming, one day, only half as good as he was ... growing up, knowing the evolution of his condition over the years has always caused me great anguish, and it's always amazing to know how much fortitude Jason still maintains. Herman, I must confess that I didn't know you and your music very well, but over time I discovered and learned what a great person, with a huge heart you are, by observing the effort you have put into helping Jason over the past months, and by watching every single video you were publishing, and I admired the love my youth guitar heroes brought to Jason thanks to you... I don't listen to Tosin's music but his comparison of Jason and Eddie was dead on. Both of them were a lot more than crazy technique and skill. That smile while playing things that seemed impossible to do and creating sounds from the instrument that were never heard before.

I've been following Jason Becker since his playing days up to now. This man is a true living legend and is truly a HERO! For Jason to still compose music 30 years after his diagnosis is so AMAZING! The only thing that passes me off with Jason though is even AFTER he lost alot of his motor functions due to ALH, he's still a better guitarist than me! Go and buy it, order it, download it, anyway you get your movies, get it. It's sad, funny, inspiring, and tells his story as well as his family and loved ones. It's not only about the music, it's life and how precious it is. Cannot recommend it enough.

he is the absolute definition of a relentless composer and musician with a awe inspiring life and musical genius that is a one of a kind human being on a whole different level of musical guitar player that took his ability to inhuman capabilities in everything he does by having the "will never give up in life💪🎶🎸🎶🎶"approach in all things he does💯when I first heard of him my jaw literally hit the floor and changed my whole catalog of being a guitarist myself and surviving a massive stroke that took my ability to play guitar as well making my left hand and arm very weak and unable to even fret a chord on the neck of a guitar,I remember being in the hospital finding out i will no longer be able to play and reminissing jasons story and being upset about the fact i was just starting to get some of his stuff down on guitar😟hes inspired me not to give up myself due to my injury,god bless him and his loving family🙏♥️🎸💪🎶🎶
