I like the "high range" ore detector mod. It modifies the base blocks. So printed blueprints need no change.

Just so you know the reason that you couldn't find the other pilot seat is that its called a "Flight Seat" not a "Control Seat," hence it wasn't showing up when you typed in "control." Also the flight seat is the one you can use the scroll wheel on to switch to other seats, only blocks with the little + sign in the corner have the scroll wheel function.

The reason double clicking isnt working is because you have to click on the spot you want it to go first. So for components you click the bottom and then you can quick transfer all comps, then youd click the top and you can quick transfer all ingots

stupid question if i put more then 1 ore detector on a ship would that do anything other then being a backup detector incase the other broke?

No, you are correct that it would do nothing but serve as a back up....but using an Antenna will boost the Detectors range.
