I remember my first encounter with Gazer, I must've spent 40 minutes hiding behind the pillars, chipping away at his health with arrows. I felt so exasperated and confused that I decided to risk everything by going to ground level, to see if I was missing something. I felt so unbelievably clever when I realized you could bait him into punching himself.

Its an amazing mechanic to the boss! Just wish the BBI bosses weren't such brick wall tanks, when it comes to DPS you can inflict. That is unless you have very specific skills, augments or gear. As a souls nut, I like being able to overcome challenges in a diverse way, just my one critique. Other wise this game goes into my greatest of all time, can't wait for DD2! Thanks for dropping in my friend 👊😎

You can beat Gazer legitimately, but you need high damage (to its eye). Your damage just wasn't high enough. Just a reminder: to increase damage you can: 1) Upgrade your weapons 2) Use high damage skills (as opposed to multiple hit, but low damage skills most players use) 3) Use damage increasing augments (Clout, Acuity, Eminence, Ferocity etc., depends on your playstyle).

Thanks man! My gas tank was emptying a bit for this tbh, we do get quite far though. I was using at least some of those augments you mention, looking forward to applying some of these lessons to Dragons Dogma 2 though! 😎

@shakybeevessouls just hope you don't give up on this game until you finish BBI, it's worth it
