You forgot to mention the reason why it webt into administration. The company grew 400% after being in the Den, and the company expanded too quickly. So, he blames Dragon's Den that his company almost went under. Tells you, he wasn't investible in the first place, which he clearly also demonstrated here. I have no idea why any of the dragons would invest in the business, with him in charge.

He didn’t invest because he doesn’t trust the entrepreneur to be competent, he has access to the market stat that he can access it but he didn’t know he can access those information. So his credibility immediately is destroyed.

His indecision and dithering is not a good omen for his decision making abilities. He'd be a nightmare to work with - which is probably why the company failed. I don't think it would have mattered who he chose - and Duncan quite rightly saw that.

The company failed because the feed in tariff dropped from over 12p pkwh (per kilo watt hour) to 2p pkwh over night. The solar panel price stayed the same meaning it was no longer a viable investment for the home owner. A lot of solar companies went bankrupt after that, including the one I worked for and all the other ones we worked with. We would make sales and pass them on to another company for commission. Some companies would provide solar panels (residential or commercial) and take the feed in money but they all pulled their funding the next day.
