I actually think it was a generous statement. Letting her know that she had leverage and implying that if she had used the offer she got from the two dragons as an argument against his first offer she could possibly have gotten a better deal with him as well. That said, I think 30% for one dragon rather than two is still a worse deal, granted I think Peter might be one of the most exciting to work with.

But surely China can do this cheaper and would underprice her if it become really popular they always do copy the Chinese, I've been there myself. It's not a terribly hard product to copy and she can't really protect it. Why she let that distributor go is a mystery! She got greedy eh.. she was doing ok at £500k turnover and should have built up the cash and sold the concept on to a toy store or manufacturer or retailer, and done something else with the cash thats more easy to protect and expand.

Who would have guessed she was a skater? I used to teach kids how to skate through a youth centre program. It was extremely rewarding to see their happy little faces look up at me when they landed a new trick, or even did something small they thought they weren't capable of doing.
