He in fact himself is aligned with elements (what was achieved by force what cause his disfigurement), what is the reason why he didn't defend himself convinced that he overpower any attempt to use those against him. His revenge against Celestia was purely personal and tied to fact that he intended to destroy what was sealed inside the tree (for reminder it is thing what created numerous demons including those in EQG). Plus he cause chaos in Equestria in one timeline after all, so that isn't even point of the debate.

Though I mostly liked the theories, there was something, that still bugged me. When Rainbow Dash is in battle against King Sombra, Pinkie and Maud save her. But look at Pinkie. There is no joy and no happiness in her face. Her mane and tail aren’t fluffy and puffed up, like they are in original timeline, but straight like Pinkamena’s (And we have seen Pinkie fight in original timeline with multiple antagonists, so we know her mane won’t change during fights). And look, how Pinkie destroys that boulder with Maud. SHE IS AS GOOD AS SHE IS! Which means, that she has the same experience as Maud, who has dedicated her entire life on rocks! Which makes me think, that Pinkie, being the only one from the group, never discovered laughter and her true destiny, but stayed in the Rock Farm until the war with Sombra began.

That's why I believe at least she and Twilight might not have gotten their respective cutie marks or got a different one. Heck, I believe that none of the mane six actually got their cutie marks. I mean if Rarity had gotten hers, I bet a million dollars she would have at least made her clothes look more beautiful. Pinkie's hair is straight and she is fighting side by side with Maude. Twilight probably never got in Celestia's school for gifted Unicorns and probably at least never got a cutie mark in magic. And Fluttershy may have gone back to the ground to work with animals and Applejack to the farm, but without the Rainboom happening they probably didn't get the chance to realize their destiny. Applejack seems to have gone back to help the cause, and Fluttershy is just seen working with animals. We can't assume that either did ever get their cutie marks. And finally Rainbow Dash was the most directly effected by the Rainboom. If she did get a cutie mark maybe she got something like Shining Armor. I seriously doubt any of the Main six got their original cutie marks.

The Flim Flam Brothers timeline is easiest to figure out. Having never become friends with the rest of the Mane 6, Applejack was never able to meet the demand during Cider Season, leading the ponies of Ponyville to go with the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, putting Sweet Apple Acres out of business, and leaving the Flim Flam Brothers to take over.

For the first one, since the Rainboom didn’t happen, Twilight never hatched Spike’s egg. Therefore spike was not there to “save” the Crystal Empire when Twilight got trapped, letting Sombra get the heart.

Ok but the thing is twighlight wouldn’t be trapped in the first place, because she never made her way up to the tower to get trapped, because her and the rest of the main six weren’t in the crystal empire making the crystal fair for the crystal ponies, only she was there. sooo sombra would have never got the heart, but without the main six and spike to interfere, sombra probably would have worn out cadences magic, and found a away to win anyways. It is not about Rainbow Dash.. all those ponies feel desperate what reasoned with entity sealed inside tree of harmony. Common mistake what people make is that main 6 represent the elements. They in fact represent the opposite (what Discord did was cutting that spell to make his point, mean 6 also were naturally cut from elements being otherwise ideal copies.. what ironically mean that shadow Twilight is most vile person in whole Equestria.. lol) and elements plug hole in they hearts through they friendship.

It also convinced Applejack, who left her farm to live in Manehattan and was starting to question that choice, to return. At the same time, in a forest below Cloudsdale, the sonic rainboom scared the animals that were with Fluttershy, which is what made her realize she had the ability to talk to animals as she was calming them down. NO! There is no way that almost everyone is dead in Nightmare Moon's timeline. One word: TOURISM. Rarity mistakes Twilight and Spike for tourists. That has to mean tourism is still a thing, and thus there must be other settlements. Besides, Nightmare Moon never wanted to kill or harm her people. She only wanted the love and adoration she deserved! That means that upon becoming the sole princess, and receiving the attention she wanted (given out of fear, but she still took it anyways) she would have protected her subjects. My head canon is that while she couldn't drive back everfree, she used her magic to create some safe places around her castle, essentially villages, and it was only traveling between these places that was dangerous, which ponies would have prepared for with warrior travel guides, probably working for hire. And those ponies who managed to do the best in this reality could afford the best travel guides and could afford to travel and see what the other villages had to offer, and thus tourism and Nightmare Moon's castle becoming the most impressive building left in equestria.

I appreciate the video, but I find a flaw that a lot of analysis youtubers forget about. In the Sombra timeline, we all know that he takes over the Crystal Empire and goes after the rest of Equestria, but what about Cadence? She became an alicorn by defeating an enchantress and saving the Crystal Empire, correct? What if the enchantress was trying to summon Sombra? The Sombra timeline had established that the war had been going on for a really long time, and it would match up with the ages of the Main 6. They would have grown up during the war, and Rainbow would have lost her wing crash landing after being frozen by Starlight Glimmer.

He never tried to hurt anypony just having fun in his own chaotic way XD At start ponies were propably confused and scared but after some time they could get used to new Equestria's "design" . The thing about rainbow getting trapped with the magic, it traps her in an impenetrable barrier that slowly sinks through the clouds, then falls to the ground. Fluttershy probably flew down to the ground to help her, and then because of the hard fall of the magic rock, the animals all got scared and went into hiding. Fluttershy must have gone to help them, earning her her cutie mark

Nightmare Moon just wanted love and attention, because she didn't get it as being the younger sister who only takes control of the night. She is nocturnal, she sleeps during the day, and is awake during the night. She never got attention because everypony was asleep, and it occurs that they didn't see her or know exactly why she deserved attention. She wanted eternal night so Celestia couldn't show her daylight normally, and she would have to lower the moon herself, and the ponies would see what Luna did, just watching Celestia do it instead of Luna. In her timeline shown in _The Cutie Remark,_ she took the attention even though it was shown of fear.

As for the original timeline Dash’s sonic rainboom is what pushed it to what it is now. Rainbow Dash is certainly an important pony. Her associations with “rainbows” definitely have a big impact of Equestria Girls and MLP. Seriously though why is there always a rainbow explosion that saves the day? 🤔. Not to mention that there was a blue alicorn with a rainbow mane who defeated the sirens in “rainbow” rocks. When defeating the evil there is always a connection with rainbows. Nightmare moons reform, starlights reform (the rainboom), discord’s defeat etc.. Could there be more than just pretty amusing colors to rainbows in MLP? Did hasbro just use rainbows to make the audience amused or is there more to it? Is rainbow dash connected to any of it or is her connections with rainbows just because of her name and name?!?

That's an interesting take, since during her speech Twilight stated that the rainboom had caused the Mane Six to get their cutie marks meant that she was the epicenter of everything that would happen. It's also possible that the "rainbow effect" from each defeat doesn't reflect Rainbow Dash herself but the colors of each member of the Mane Six, though during "Rainbow Rocks" the blue alicorn doesn't show up until after Sunset Shimmer comes to their aid in defeating the Dazzlings; Friendship, Loyalty, Honesty, Kindness, Generosity, Laughter, and Forgiveness together overcoming the divides caused by their influence

Considering that the start change point is Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom, it makes sense that her character is a vital part of most of these focus around her and the character she was trying to help, Fluttershy. With the exception of the Apocolypse timeline, I think your theories sound possible. Maybe not accurate, but given that we have very little to go on (and given that the history of Equestria is given to being a bit fuzzy) I see nothing to dispute it.

I think the final timeline is not a timeline of any of the other villains, but of Starlight, if she were to have won in the end. Starlight's goal was to completely remove cutie marks, and the only reason she really failed was due to the mane 6, without them meeting, they'd have no reason to go to Starlight's Village and stop her, leaving her to slowly remove everyone's cutie marks. with everyone's special talents removed from them, no one's really good at anything, sure people can try to cook, farm, build, and all that, but they'd most likely run out of resources at some point, leaving Equestria barrened and slowly, picking off all of it's citizens one by one due to lack of food, water, and shelter. The Desolate Timeline is when Starlight makes everyone the same, not by a lack of Cutie Marks, but by being the reason Equestria gets removed from the planet itself.

Personally, the issue was only for about 2 maybe 3 minutes, so it's not all that long. However, it's at the beginning of the video, so it might turn people off from watching the rest =1 I'd do it, if just to have the peace of mind, and ad a link in this video to the other one with better sound quality.

I like this, but there's one flaw in your Nightmare Moon timeline. When Rarity spots Twilight, she states that "Visiting hours are over", which means that there are enough ponies outside of the castle that visitors/tourists are not an uncommon sight. Otherwise, Rarity's reaction to seeing a new face would have been vastly different.

I feel like Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash are the two most likely to become actual Alcorns only because of their mental strength with each other by their side, and also with the way, Rainbow Dash has most of the influence even though she does it on her own, I feel like she should be in charge because she’s really assertive and really good at being in charge And even sometimes in the show when toilet sparkle tested, take control sometimes Rainbow Dash steps in and tries to figure out some better options.

The Apocalypse timeline is most likely to be the *Daybreaker* timeline. Think about it: We see the same style of background in the Sombra timeline. It's most likely that when Celestia gets pushed to a corner, she gets pissed and then... voila. ***BURN EVERYTHING.***

i think the reason rainbow dash plays SUCH a huge role in how each timeline plays out is because SHES the reason all the main 6 got their cutie marks and SHES the one being messed with. starlight isnt messing with twilight, pinkie, etc and barely fluttershy. its RAINBOW she messed with, leading for her to have the most impact in each timeline because shes the reason it changed in the first place

However, there are several alternate timelines, and Twilight always returns to the same time. ***** Ah, ok. Well, the Sombra timeline sounds plausible to me, but that´s about it. With Chrysalis, I´d say noone noticed her until it as too late, meaning that Canterlot just got wrecked. With Nitghmare Moon, I disagree the most. Nightmare Moon is a powerful alicorn, meaning that she probably took care of the Everfree Forest already (including removing the roots). And Rainbow Dash doesn´t have to be corrupted to follow her. After all, she is the Element of Loyalty. This means that, when Nightmare Moon took over, she probably just accepted the new order. And now the apocalypse: I thought it was rather obvious, but I guess I was wrong (again). This timeline was created by Starlight Glimmer not being stopped by the Mane Six. I mean, every timeline has another color pattern, based on the villain who "created" it. And in the apocalypse timeline, ook at the background, look at the colors of the ponies. What does it look like? Exactly: The backgroun looks like these terrible muffins from the Season5 premiere, and the ponies looke like the ones that got their cutie mark removed.

Let's face it, Rainbow Dash was responsible for 2 things. 1. Being 20% more awesome than any other pony! Lol! 2. Her sonic rainboom's timing and effects were crucial to the mental and careers of all of the mane 6. Twi's school history and mental development (imagine if she did NOT get in? She'd end up like her counterpart who looks like her, all alone and friendless!) Applejack wouldn't have moved back to the farm (which is more likely during the Brothers timeline since she had a calmer head on her shoulders.) So while I like that you focused on Rainbow Dash as the main source and was rightly so, I feel it was not really enough because examining the mane 6 more deeply would have made your 18 min video most likely into a hour long one. lol! Every time RD was prevented in some means or didn't use her rainboom at all, all of the others had to find their own way (like every other pony) instead of having that magical bond much like how the Cutie Mark Crusaders had theirs. Wow, two separate groups of friends getting their cutie marks at the same time! One all together(CMC) and another many, many miles apart from each other!(Twi and friends). I wonder if Twi would ever have thought to do a presentation on it just like she did before on friendship and the CMC. Even Pinkie Pie would never have known joy and as a side effect, Cheese Sandwich would never become the party pony that he'd become (even if at some point Cheese and Pinkie still got married and had a kid it'd be more like Maud's relationship with her boyfriend. I wish we could have seen Maud get married before the series ended since there was so much more build up to it than Big Mac's.

Don't you think that the apocalypse timeline might have been a starlight glimmer timeline, where she forced everyone to have equal cutiemarks? The consequence was that either no one could take care of equestrian, leading to the death of all nature (except for the everfree forest everything in equestrian seems to be controlled by ponies) or no villain could have been defeated, leading to massive destruction. Don't forget that starlight had another role aside from trying to change the past (her equality village) and should therefore be counted in to the different timelines.

Okay- Hot take The last timeline is the Starlight Glimmer timeline. Imagine this: after all the chaos and strife, and downright thermonuclear-warfare, Equestria is in shambles. Somewhere far away from all the action, is Starlight, and her village. Starlight's already a leader, and it probably wouldn't be hard to get more followers. Once she has enough, she easily sweeps all the remaining fighters, removing and utilizing their cutie marks to make her invincible. However, all the power gets to her, and she makes some rash descisions, accidentaly destroying what's left of Equestra. Skip to the Starlight in the Cutie Re-mark, and Twilight has just taken her to her own world. Starlight's reaction to seeing the apocolypse timeline, makes perfect sense. Also, Starlight proclaims that the apocolypse world could just be "What Twilight was showing her." However once coming back, Starlight realizes that Twilight probably didn't know how to show her a fabricated timeline. Upon this realization, she flips, and becomes good. Q: how does Starlight know the apocolypse world was the one she ruled? A: she probably had some knowlage related to it, after all of her time spent studying time-travel. (Okay, it's a weak point, I'm sorry) Q: why, specificly, was this the Starlight timeline? A: probably because this was the only one that Starlight actually visited
